Interaction with guests
We can direct you ( but usually take you )to the beautiful rivers within 10 minutes drive, help you find places of interest in the area to visit and perhaps we will share a drink on the verandah in the evening.
The rivers, the delightful town of Bellingen, the nearby National Park at Dorrigo.........too many attractions to mention.
As we're 15 minutes out of town, a vehicle is essential. A 4 wheel drive is not necessary, however.
Just treat our home like yours and enjoy your time in Bellingen.
A year ago, myself and husband, Tom, decided to open two bedrooms and our home to visitors who wish to enjoy our hospitality and the beautiful Bellingen area. In my heart, I'm a traveller and love meeting all of life's wanderers that pass through our door. We share our home, but if people enjoy their own company there is also a private sitting room and verandah. Now that we have been hosting for over a year, we realize how fortunate we have been to have met such a wide diversity of people with various interests, talents and lives!
Just a heads up on the two small dogs that also live with us... they love visitors too, but the chihuahua precludes any hosting of small children.
Homemade bread and jam each morning and there are usually pancakes on Sunday (and a walk to the river with the little horse and the dogs....but it's not compulsory!)
Enjoy your time with us, I think most people do!
