Unwind in the hot tub

This is one of the few places in the area with this amenity.
A small barn conversion on a small holding with sea views, down a single track lane with passing places. Close to Sandy Beach 700 metres and Trefadog Beach 500 metres. Ideally located for lovers of peace and quiet as well as walking, sightseeing and relaxing on one of the many beautiful beaches that surround Anglesey. The coastal path is right on your doorstep and ideal starting point for a wonderful walk along the rugged coast towards Church Bay to watch the sunset or some bird watching.

The space
Ysgubor Hen/The Granary flat consists of one bedroom with King size pine bed, en suite Shower room, open plan kitchen dining/living room which also has a sofa bed. The Kitchen is equipped with small under counter fridge/freezer, dishwasher oven/hob and microwave.
There is underfloor heating during the colder month and also additional heating from log burning effect electric stove, wall heaters in bedroom. There are two TV's one with built in DVD player, also free fibre optic fast WIFI and Panasonic HIFI. French doors from bedroom lead onto balcony and stairs down to a patio area with wood fired "HOT TUB" to relax and enjoy stargazing and peace and quiet. (£50 2/3nights or £75 per week payable at property on arrival). Please let us know at least 24hrs in advance if you wish to use the hot tub so we can get it ready for you, once booked you will be charged for it even if you don't use it.
NOTE If there are storm force winds forecast, it may not be possible to use the hot tub.
Sun Lounger, picnic table and chairs and a built in BBQ, overlooking open countryside.
Due to steep staircase and small shower room, Ysgubor Hen is unsuitable for anyone with restricted mobility.
Ideally suited to couples searching for peace and tranquillity and escape the daily stresses.

Ysgubor Hen is within easy walking distance of two beautiful beaches and Anglesey's coastal path.
There are quite often sheep in the field in front of the granary as well as our horses Forest and Finn. We also have a small friendly dog and a cat. They may want to come and say hello to you.
We run a small shellfish business on the farm.
The access to Ysgubor is down a single track country lane with some passing places.
There are two other holiday lets at the same address and we live in the farmhouse opposite. However one is a Shepherds Hut set further away, the other one is next door to the granary but sufficiently shielded and has plenty of privacy.
We aim to give all our guests a peaceful relaxing experience.

Other things to note
If you are seeking on the doorstep entertainment ie bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance then the granary is not for you. If you like to look across open fields with sheep, cattle or horses towards the coast then this will be your ideal place to come and stay.

Neighbourhood highlights

Sandy Beach, which really lives up to its name is only 700 metres stroll away. With excellent water sports and safe bathing area.The Caravan park at the far end of the beach has a bar open during the summer.
Trefadog a small sandy and shale cove is only 500 metres away and easily accessible with a push chair and ideal for rock pooling and discovering lots of fabulous sea creatures.
The Anglesey coastal path also runs along these two beautiful beaches and if you wish to have a good walk to Church Bay, than this would be a lovely route to take and reward yourself with a nice crab salad at the Lobster Pot, a scrumptious cake or scone at the Wavecrest cafe or a drink at the Church Bay Inn and take in the breath taking views across the bay on their terrace, before returning back to Ysgubor Hen and relax with a glass of wine on the balcony or relax in the hot tub.

I cherish the peace and quiet of the country side and really dislike going into cities. Having always enjoyed meeting people and listening to their life stories, hopefully I will get to do much more of this. I adore animals, especially horses and dogs. When we go away on holiday, we usually love to go sailing, swimming or relaxing, reading a book on a quiet beach. Don't like crowds or noise but instead love a glass of rose and a chat with some like minded friends.
