This fully equipped, comfortable, light and spacious, self-contained country cottage is your home from home in the heart of the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, an official 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. With superfast broadband and a super central location Chapel Cottage, and its little courtyard garden with summerhouse, gives you access to glorious countryside surrounding famous stone built towns and villages.

The space

The Cottage, originally a Sunday school, is attached to a handsome Cotswold stone chapel built in 1804. Both buildings have been converted to interesting living spaces by the present owners who live in the chapel. The cottage is totally private and completely independent. It is warm and cosy in winter and airy and spacious in summer. The small upstairs bathroom is complemented by a downstairs WC and basin, plus a wash basin in both bedrooms.

"If we had known how clean cosy Chapel Cottage was we would have booked it for longer. It has the countryside experience we were looking for"

Delightful cottage, which I thoroughly recommend to others. We will, I am quite sure, be back. Many thanks for having us to stay, Hannah

We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous cottage. There was everything we needed right there and it was so cozy with the wood fire. Our little girl loved it along with 'peggy' Sophia's dog! Beautiful surrounding areas and perfect location to get to many different attractions and towns. Would love to come back!

This is a gorgeous space, with plenty of cosy furniture, decent kitchen and a lovely little spot to sit outside in the sun. We enjoyed the quiet countryside and made good use of the BBQ. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great spacious cottage in a peaceful location. We used the cottage as a base for a wedding we attended at Cripps Barn which was only about 10-15 mins drive away. Cottage had lots of amenities including cooking utilities so cooking in the property was easy, although there are many pubs in the near vicinity (either walking or a short drive) so eating out was easy too. Only potential downside was the cottage has no conventional shower, although it does have a shower attachment on the bath taps but you have to sit in the bath to use it as there is a low sloping ceiling in the bathroom.

Chapel cottage is really lovely, Sophia communicated well before our stay and left lots of information for things to do in the area. The village is really stunning, a typical Cotswolds location! We had a great time.
