Beautiful, peaceful home. Mike and Vina were wonderful hosts and very responsive, but not at all nosy. The home is very clean in nice neighborhood with an abundance of dear and easy access to the highway. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect little house for the month I was in San Antonio. Natalie was always available and flexible. The neighborhood was so pretty with so much wildlife. I really loved my stay! It had everything I need in a great location!

The host was very communicative and helpful without being intrusive. Michael greeted us when we arrived and made us feel welcome, giving us his cell phone number and telling us to contact him day or night if we needed anything. The apartment was clean, had everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen, large closet for storage, washer/dryer, and queen size bed. All appliances and wifi worked without a problem. The neighborhood is quiet and nestled in trees, full of deer that come right up to your porch if you give them carrots :-)

Loved the fact that it is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with deer everywhere but you can access the highway within a few minutes. The added welcoming touch was great!

We really enjoyed our stay at the casita amongst the wildlife. The location is great, tucked in a wooded neighborhood with deer everywhere, but close to markets (Sprouts, Whole Foods) and many restaurants. The well equipped little kitchen had everything we needed. The decor is updated and inviting, with the attention to detail that indicates hosts who truly want their guests to enjoy their stay. We would definitely recommend the casita.

Had a nice stay at Natalie's casita. Very quiet neighborhood. Clean accommodations. Coffee and water waiting for us. The deer greeted us and came to visit each night. The use of the washer and dryer was a plus. Thanks for the hospitality.

Hello friends & neighbors!
I am a 5th generation Texan, and my family settled on the north side of San Antonio in the late 1800's. Growing up I always swore I would go and live somewhere else, but as it turns out I love this city and being so close to my family. I recently left the corporate world of international design (and before that construction management); now I spend my time running Caliente Hot Glass here in town. We host free public demos about once a month and offer many interactive classes & events.

It's a family venture for us here on Airbnb, & we're all in San Antonio, so there's plenty of us nearby should you need anything. When you message us, you'll hear back from me or my mother, Vina. My nephew lives next door to the Casita, and my parents - are awesome - and they run the brick and mortar-y things.

San Antonio has a huge underground food, art and music scene, burgeoning into mainstream, you just have to know where to look. It's probably not a black tie affair, but SA isn't known for New York prices or California traffic - it's more of a first class city that is still welcoming like a small town. If you'd like, I'm more than happy to provide opinions or suggestions to help you with a more authentic experience!
