A beautiful spot surrounded by natural beauty with lovely views of Elkhorn Sleugh and the Pacific Ocean, away from the maddening crowd. Yet, accessible to Carmel / Pebble Beach / Santa Cruz. A variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, bicycling, kayaking, golfing and whale watching.

Monterey County is located on the Pacific coast in Northern California. The coastline, including Big Sur, Route 1, 17 Mile Pebble Beach Drive has made the county world famous.

Mark is truly a person who deserves the title “super host”. He went above and beyond in terms of hospitality. He is an incredibly interesting person, well-traveled, thoughtful, funny and an excellent cook. We felt more like friends than guests by the end of our stay. It was truly ascentertaining spending time with Mark. as it was enjoying the local attractions. Mark was full of great advice with respect to dining and other activities. The history of his property is fascinating but I will leave it for him to tell the next guests lucky enough to stay here. We would recommend Mark and this place without reservation. We would gladly stay here again.

The property is nothing short of spectacular. Both the view and the company are extraordinary. This is one of the most peaceful and beautiful weekend getaways I know of.

Marc's home is a beautiful, secluded gem surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing on-site, but close enough to the action of nearby cities. Marc was extremely personable and helped us plan our time in the area. He provided beautiful breakfast spreads each morning and fresh flowers and treats each evening. The property is very large with plenty of room to explore, and has amazing views of sunset over the water. Marc and his family were in the neighboring home and provided great conversation and a welcoming touch to the experience. They are wonderful people and we look forward to visiting in the future!

Marc's estate has a beautiful garden filled with interesting statues and artifacts, little surprises are hidden in nooks and crannies. The guest quarters are filled with antiques from all around the world. Marc and his family are wonderful hosts, breakfast was an array of berries and other seasonal fruits followed by bacon and eggs or omelette. Marc and his family made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed chatting with him, his family and other guests while watching the sunset from the patio while the night owl hooted and far away coyotes called.....

Marc was wonderfully hospitable and accommodating for our entire stay. He was warm and friendly to get to know; it was a true pleasure. His home is a beautiful and peaceful sanctuary and made our trip very special. The breakfasts he made were delicious and he helped us navigate really memorable activities in the area. I would highly recommend staying with him.

Marc was very responsive to emails and phone calls and no questions went unanswered. He was very welcoming upon arrival and gave great directions. He had a wonderful breakfast prepared for us each day. Marc's wonderful hospitality is hard to match these days! We were very pleased with our accommodations and look forward to returning. Very serene area, the furnishing inside were unique with many antiques. Great place, very beautiful!
