A bright, comfortable and cozy apartment, in the heart of the historic center of Cagliari. Absolutely perfect for those traveling with children or for those who, while on vacation, he needs to convenient locations for work, study, create.
The house is located in a small and elegant palace and it is in the second and last floor in the center of Cagliari and close to Bastione San Remy; the apartment is bright, spacious and there are the colours of the Sardinian handicraft, the fifties cupboard and the design lamp.
The kitchen is the functional and comfortable, it is equipped with everything you need including dishwasher. The apartment has two bathrooms, equipped with two independent water heater. Going up a small flight of stairs you reach the large master bedroom. Here wood reigns and the trunk of an old juniper will make you imagine the most unspoiled scenery of our beautiful island, sunlight filters pleasantly by two windows and by a small skylight. In the study a sofa that you can open and it becomes a queen size bed, creates another bedroom; here certainly the books will not miss you.... For anyone wishing to deepen their knowledge on the territory of Sardinia, its history, its traditions, its memories wide range of scientific and popular books will support the choice of routes in cities or "out of town" curious travelers to visit the lesser-known destinations. Facilities wi-fi fast and the presence of two comfortable areas for work, make the apartment for those who want to work, write, create, study while on vacation.
The apartment is perfect also for people traveling with children. It comes in fact (for those who request it) of the table, the Tripp Trapp highchair, changing table and also, if you’ll indicate me the age of your children, I will be glad to let you find a selection of toys and books suitable for them.
In a word: it is the perfect home for those who love reading, children, the center rich history of the city they are visiting, who is an incurably curious, for those who love the light of day that illuminates the rooms quiet or nightlife lively ... or for those who love all those things. Like me.
It features a large bedroom, with the occurrence of bed, a living room with sofa a sofa that you can open and it becomes a queen size bed, two bathrooms and a comfortable and spacious kitchen with dining table and bar for drinks and breakfast.
Interaction with guests
I will be present on site for the check in and check out and to provide guests with information and suggestions for visiting the city and its surroundings. During your stay, I will be available by phone and in person when possible as you will want to ask about the apartment and the city.
Other things to note
Cagliari (Elmas) airport is 6 km far from the city.
It’s easy to reach the city and quite fast too.
By train: From June 9th 2013 the airport is easily accessible by train from Cagliari and all major Sardinian cities thanks to the new ‘Elmas Aeroporto’ railway station. The rail service starts at about 5AM and ends after 9PM with 20 mins. average frequency. The journey to and from downtown takes 5-7 mins, single fare is 1.25 euro. Tickets are sold by Trenitalia at the vending machine located inside the station, online and by official ticket counters and authorized dealers.
The airport train station is just a 5 minutes’ walk from the air terminal
By bus: to reach Cagliari city center, which is just 6 km far from the airport, you can take the “ARST” bus that will take you to destination in just 10 minutes. You can find the bus right out of the Arrivals, for more info check the website: (URL HIDDEN)
By taxi: taxis stand in front of the air terminal.
By car: Car rental companies, located in a dedicated area in front of the terminal, offer all kinds of vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, vans, minibuses and campers.
Trains and buses arrive at the city center in Matteotti square. You could reach the house in 15 minutes by walking (1 km), walking through the city center streets or you could take a bus (line 1 or line M) which would take you after 4 bus stops (via XX Settembre ) or 5 bus stops (via Sonnino) very close to the house. There’s another way too: you could take a taxi standing in front of the station which would take you to the house and it would be quite cheap considered the short way you need to make.
In Cagliari there is a municipal service of bike sharing (which is good especially in the center ) and a network of bike paths . [For more info check the website: (URL HIDDEN)

Ciao sono Claudia, vivo con il mio compagno Vito e le mie dolcissime bambine Dora e Agata a Cagliari. Sono una antropologa culturale, ho studiato all'Università di Siena e ora collaboro con l’Università di Cagliari.
Per lavoro e per passione sono un po’ “nomade” e così nei nostri frequenti soggiorni lontano da Cagliari abbiamo deciso di condividere il nostro amato appartamento e tutto quanto lasciamo a disposizione e che testimonia le nostre passioni: per i libri prima di tutto, per la buona musica e per i bei film, ma anche per le cene con gli amici e per la cucina. La nostra cucina infatti non è un ristretto angolo cottura ma uno spazio comodo, ampio e confortevole.
