Whether you are visiting family, exploring the Northwest, or simply wanting to relax in the peace and comfort of your own place, this self-contained apartment may be the perfect base for you.
The property is a converted cart shed which has been stylishly yet tastefully decorated throughout. Free parking and outdoor garden & patio areas are also at your disposal. Set in the peaceful Hamlet of Midge Hall, yet only a stone throw from several major motorways including the M6.

The space
The Cart Shed is a fully self contained apartment with private parking on the premises for one vehicle, but with prior notification up to 2 or 3 vehicles is easily manageable.
The entrance is well lit with one small step through the door and single level there after.
Open plan lounge with a wall mounted 50" HDTV, kitchen area and dining/work area provides a modern, light and airy living space.
From the open plan area you step into a private double bedroom with double bed, a wall mounted 32" HDTV, bedside drawers, chest of drawers, dressing table and two double wardrobes. For children or additional adult there is a small double sofa bed in the lounge. Upon request a good quality air mattress can be provided if the situation arises.
All windows throughout the living areas have wood slat venetian blackout blinds plus curtains, with the exception of the two kitchen windows, these have blinds only.
Located to the left hand side as you enter the small hall area is a newly refitted bathroom with basin, toilet, bath, shower, heated towel rail and humidity controlled fan.

Guest access
There is a fully enclosed, private garden with table & seating, exclusively for use by our guests which provides peace of mind regarding young children or your fur babies. In addition to this there is a large family garden with patio area, additional table & seating, drying area and BBQ which guests are more than welcome to use upon request.

Other things to note
During your stay you have access to all areas including a 4.5 acre pasture where you are more than welcome to walk and exercise your fur babies. There is a second grazing area used by horses which we just ask guests to be mindful of regarding children and pets.
We are also privileged to have a small herd of Fallow Deer that visit us to graze and relax. They live completely free and unhindered but if you are lucky enough you may get the chance to see them.

Neighbourhood highlights

Midge Hall is a semi rural location consisting of one Pub by the same name which serves food daily, has outdoor seating, large beer garden and outdoor kids play area. We have a small Methodist Church that has served my family from birth to marriage and beyond for over 115yrs.
The apartment where you will be staying was once the cart shed, where early horse drawn farm equipment was stored. This belonged to the 20 acre Londonderry Farm, which was the hub of the village and has been in my family since my Great Grandfather purchased it for less than £1000 in 1907.
