Atop Silver Mountain 2 hours north of New York City, this mountaintop retreat includes a private lake, dock, picnicking facilities. Many of the same farm markets that travel to New York Union square are nearby offering fresh fruits, vegetables. Fish delivered daily from New York's Hunts Point Market to Sharon farm market.
You have private picnic, private outdoor dining and huge private pond, perfect for observing wildlife and nature.

There are no unauthorized guests allowed on the property. This is for our security as well as that of our guests. There is a fee of $100.00 per transgression.
A 50 mile view atop Silver mountain, near Amenia, Rhinbeck, Millbrook, Pine Plains, Millerton, New York; Lakeville, Salisbury and Sharon, CT.
We are 20 minutes from the Wassaic Harlem Valley North Train stop. There is no public transportation, therefore utilizing a car is necessary.
Other things to note
Many natural attractions and swimming places, for example Bash Bish Falls and Rudd Pond, Many children's playgrounds, restaurants, a movie theatre, art galleries, antique stores, wine shops, pick-your-own fruits and vegetables farmer's markets. etc. etc. Hotchkiss Golf Course is open to the public. Cooking equipment includes a Consumer Reports award winning outdoor gas grill, an induction cooktop with Cuisinart pots and pans, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, a toaster, and an indoor George Forman Electric Grill for your convenience. Guests should be aware that since the unit is on top of a mountain and self sustaining, we are vulnerable from water and electrical outages from time to time, depending on the weather and season.
Appreciate Nature and outdoor surroundings... rabbits, raccoon, deer, foxes turkeys, all sorts of birds...
