Peter was a great host and welcomed us to the property himself. We would wholeheartedly recommend the house and location. What a great host !

We stayed in sandwich for a wedding, wish we could have stayed longer. Peter was a great host and his property was well equipped and comfortable.

We loved the fact that this cottage was very well situated in the old, historic part of Sandwich and was convenient for both sightseeing in the area and for business at the nearby Discovery Park. The cottage was very quiet, comfortable (including the beds!) and well equipped with an excellent selection of up-to-date information leaflets and maps (including a personalised 1:25,000 OS map).

Response from Peter:
Hi Alison I am very grateful for your honest feedback and I really do appreciate it. I have been doing this now for 3 years and perhaps I have become complacent. And I am surprised but very pleased you gave me top marks. Thank you Peter

4 of us stayed for a wedding and everything was absolutely perfect. Peter was an excellent host and very easy to get hold of. The house is very clean and tidy and well looked after. Sandwich town centre is a short walk away with plenty of places to eat and drink. Highly recommended stay.

Buttermilk cottage is a beautiful little cottage in the middle of Sandwich. It's close to the river and shops/restaurants/pubs. Peter was there to meet us and show us around, giving excellent tips on what to do and see. The cottage is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Peter gave is a parking permit to use the car park free of charge, only a few minutes walk away. We would highly recommend staying here and exploring beautiful Sandwich!!

Lovely little cottage, so much character in a beautiful tiny lane in a beautiful historic town. Had a great stay, all arrangements were easy and would highly recommend it.
