The apartment is clean and comfortable. It has everything one can need for the relatively low price level. 10 minutes by walking distance from Enkplatz metro station. The host was very responsible and replied fast through the 'airbnb message service' to any questions I had during my stay. Definitely, recommend it!
Markus and his mother were very helpful. Markus met me and explained everything about getting registered at the local office (because I was staying for a while) and his mother asked me if I needed anything whenever I saw her. I was surprised about the €3 charge per load of laundry. When I asked Markus, he said that there wasn't a way to include in the listing that they charge for laundry, but I think it could have been mentioned in the description. I ended up buying a small bottle of detergent and washing my laundry by hand, since I usually didn't want to have to wait for someone to do it for me. The listing also said that it had two beds, although there was only one. However, when I had a friend come to visit, Markus did arrange to have an extra mattress brought down which we were able to fit on the floor, which I really appreciated. The area in front of my room tended to be full of cars, and there were often people coming and going early in the morning, which woke me up if I left the window open. I ended up having to keep the window shut at night, which meant that the flat sometimes got a bit stuffy. Also, the wifi was unreliable. I would guess it cut out at least once a day, which meant having to go inside the house to restart the router (which was not great if you were already in bed). Markus and his mother were very responsive, and I really appreciate their help with the spare mattress and answering all my questions promptly. The flat was a convenient walk from the metro stop, and I thought it was a pleasant place to stay on quiet days when there weren't so many cars out front.
Clemens, aka Marcus, was happy to welcome me at dead of night. I didn't know he was assuming the identity of his brother Clemens until his mother told me he was a liar. For 3 weeks, he pretended to be Clemens. Nonetheless, he was pretty helpful so was his mum who always asked me if I needed something. and advised me what places to visit and how to go there. She also took care of my laundry. Very helpful family you need in a foreign country. Much appreciated. Thank you When I came at night I thought I was in the middle of nowhere but when I walked for 5 mins the following day up the street I was surprised to find a shopping centre, 4 supermarkets, restaurants, church and the metro. Very handy apt which was very clean and comfortable. The metro takes 12 mins to reach the city centre. It's a good place to stay in Vienna and the price is very reasonable. Can't ask for better.
The apartment was pretty good for us! The location is great, not far from the subway station and a supermarket. There is everything you need for a short stay, even towels and a hairdryer! Clemens was very helpful and responsive, and his brother who greeted us, was also very kind and friendly. We can recommend this flat for a stay in Vienna.
Thanks to Clemens for a good room. Upon arrival Clemens met me, all showed and told. Room have a perfect kitchen! You can prepare all that you want. Bathroom and internet - are good. Good located - near metro and tram to the center. Due to such a beautiful room my stay in Vienna was at home :)
