Interaction with guests
I live in the front house and am home a good bit. I am available either in person or by phone/text if guests have any questions about the neighborhood or transportation or local attractions. But otherwise I keep to myself to allow my guest to enjoy their stay.
Other things to note
Some traffic noise from freeway in the garden area. Very quiet inside the studio.
The studio has its own hot water heater which is only 20 gallons which limits the length of showers.
Absolutely no smoking on the property, either in the guesthouse or in the garden.
Guesthouse accommodates up to two guest. You may make special arrangements with me for a small child.
It is a quiet neighborhood so no excessive noise please.
Chris was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up near there. He's lived in Los Angeles for many years now. Marion is from Ojai, about 2 hours north. We have traveled a lot- 48 states and about 20 countries. We have a pretty good sense of what we like when we travel: quiet, a good cup of coffee and a clean comfortable room to return to at the end of the day. We've lived in our house on 23rd street for 12 years. Between us we have 5 kids that are all nearly grown (youngest is still in college back east). We have 2 small, very friendly dog.
