Marco's place was very comfortable and accommodating for us. He made instructions for checking in very easy and communicating was a breeze as well. His place was clean and simple and had all the basic amenities that we needed. It was such a lovely neighborhood and very close to the light rail which was convenient for us because we commuted to downtown seattle every day. We also visited a hip brewery and a friendly coffee shop that was less than 5 minutes walking distance away. The neighborhood felt very safe even when walking home in the dark. I loved the little gardens that we walked by throughout the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend staying here!

This is a great spot in Seattle that is near the Beacon Hill station. The room had everything that I needed to make this trip affordable and convenient. Marco and Neville let me place my luggage in their basement suite before check in as I arrived in Seattle very early in the morning and also let me keep it there until later in the day as I did not want to carry it around for several hours before departure. Thank you guys very much and I would gladly come to this place again the next time I visit Seattle.

A great little spot hidden away at the back of a house in a cute residential neighborhood. It's just like a little hotel suite, except that there's no TV. Note - the entrance is in the back, not the front or side doors. Marco was very accommodating, including when I asked to extend my stay by a day, which left him limited time to clean before the next guest. A good experience overall.

Marco's has everything that a travelling person might need. It's also close to public transportation, a grocery and a cute, breakfast café. He's very easy-going and friendly.

This is a very nice place to stay and explore Seattle. I was in town for a conference in the downtown area and getting there and back was very easy. Marco is easy to reach, very helpful and a genuine nice guy. Good value for money. To make this review complete I will also name the only two downsides that I've experienced (which are minor). The house is a little noisy and there is no view. However, although the house is noisy you will not be bothered because Marco is very considerate about this.

Response from Marco:
Hi Martjin, thanks for your review. I would like to clarify a couple of things: 1. View - Nowhere in the post is it indicated that there is a view. I can't see how that can be considered a downside, however minor. :) 2. Noise - This is a house with people who live in it and we have a 70 pounds dog. The room we rent is directly below our bedroom, in the night side of the house. I agree that there can be a little noise but if you rent a room, it's to be expected. Personally, when I travel with Airbnb I always rent a whole place/apartment, but it's more expensive of course. 3. Location - North Beacon Hill is not Downtown Seattle or the trendy Capitol Hill, it's true, but we fend for ourselves quite well, I assure you (allow me a little neighborhood pride! :) ). We have a small strip with fancy bars, restaurants and breweries and a large park for your entertainment. And then again, the neighborhoods above are way more expensive. And forget about noise!

I am originally from Naples, Italy, but I also lived for a few years in London, UK, before moving to Seattle six years ago. I try to go back to Europe at least once a year. My roots there are still really strong, even though I find myself more and more falling in love with this crazy unique place that is the US.

I love to travel and visit different places. In the last few years I visited Mexico (quite a few times), Bali, Hong Kong, Dubai, Oman, Doha, Vietnam, and I can't wait to start planning my next big trip: Scandinavia!

Being a traveler myself, I believe I understand what a person is looking for when moving from point A to point B: comfort, good vibes, good locations, good transport options, and I believe that our space offers that in abundance. Of course, no place is perfect for everyone. In Italian we have a saying: La vita è bella perché è varia (Life is beautiful because it's varied). And I live by that.

In 2014 I finally became a fully-fledged yoga teacher in the Anusara tradition. Although I practice regularly, I have not yet found a space (more a mental space than an actual studio) to teach. But I patiently wait. It will happen once it's time. In the meantime, I enjoy exploring different studios and traditions. Seattle has so much to offer when it comes to yoga. Ask me for tips!

DIVERSITY AND EQUALITY FOR ALL!!!
