Sue and Dave are very friendly. Their house is cosy and it is a nice little walk to the old town. You will see the lovely houses, plants and the hills on your way to the old town.We were there during the "jack in the green" festival. It was fantastic as well.Sue is very acknowledgable of what were out there and we did enjoy most of the fun things there.

We were quite late arriving after a long drive so Sue's friendly welcome and tea and biscuits were much appreciated! Comfortable beds and a clean bright room with en-suite shower. We had a very happy overnight stay and a lovely bird watching walk in the morning at Rye Harbour. Thanks Sue.

Sue is really kind. We were offered hot drinks as we arrived, but after a long cycling tour we wanted just sleep. The room is large and spotless, the beds are comfortable and the whole house has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Hastings is a little jewel on the seashore. I absolutely recommend this place!

Stayed with Sue and her lovely family for a second week - friendly, helpful, informative, and wonderful hosts... they really go above and beyond the call of duty, even offered me a lift to the station when it was time to go home... thanks, guys! I'll be in touch if I ever need you again!

A great little room in a lovely house - Sue and her family are hugely friendly and massively helpful. Sue was a terrific host, making me hot drinks, checking I was happy and comfortable, and offering useful information about the Hastings Old Town and Ore areas. I thoroughly enjoyed my week spent in this room, and look forward to doing so again soon.

I have lived and worked in Hastings all my life and love the Old Town and all it has to offer in the way of music events throughout the year and community spirit. I enjoy family walks with our dog over the 2 miles of natural coastal country park, and the sunshine that Hastings boasts during the summer months.
