The house stands just above the sea at a very secluded area providing amazing views of the Aegean sea. It is a stone built house following the traditional architecture with all the amenities of a modern house including a 40sqm swimming pool.

The space

The villa of 93 sq.m. area consists of two separate (not connected internally) ground floor levels. The upper level includes an open space area consisting of the living area, the dining area and the kitchen. At the same level includes one sea view bedroom with a queen size bed and one bathroom.
The lower level includes a guest room and a bathroom. The guest room has two twin size beds which can be transformed to a king size bed.
The outdoor area includes very large shaded verandas (120sq.m.) with outdoor dining area, living area and and swimming pool (4,5mX9m). The villa rests just 70m from the seashore where you can swim following a pathway formed with stones.
Very close to the villa, 15min walk, is the sandy beach of Otzias where are also nice tavernas with traditional greek food. Also very close to the villa (4km) is the village Vourkari where you can enjoy the most lively and attractive night life in Kea, including seafood restaurants, bars, cafe and shopping.

We had a really lovely stay. Yiannis is a great host. The house is very well designed, tastefully decorated, clean and considered with great views and a lovely private pool. The beds are also very comfortable. I would recommend it for a family holiday and would love to come again! Thank you Yiannis!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. We were two couples and so having the guest bedroom separate with it's own bathroom was perfect. While the obvious draw of this place is the fantastic private pool and sea view, the apartment's amenities were also great. The view really is stunning. The kitchen was good for cooking and we made good use of the outdoor bbq. The villa has been clearly well thought out. There's air conditioning (if you need it), mosquito-net blinds on all windows, an outdoor power socket, an outdoor shower by the pool - all little extras which enhanced our stay. There are a handful of villas in the development, but you still retain a sense of privacy as each are built at different heights going down towards the sea. We spent our week chilling at the villa, interspersed with trips to the local towns and beaches (Spathi was particularly beautiful!), and the location was perfect - just bear in mind you will need a car. Finally Yannis was a great host. His communication was clear and fast - he was always able to answer our (multiple) questions promptly.

The house has everything you need for a truly relaxing vacation. As others have mentioned, it’s a well-planned layout, I also liked the fact that the 2nd bedroom was private and accessible through its own entrance - one thing that others didn’t mention is the huge closet in the 2nd bedroom. It’s a small walk-in room where you can put your luggage, hang everything (tons of good hangers) – and it even had a small fridge inside too. The bathroom is large and has a washing machine, all the detergent provided. Space outside to hang laundry – clothespins and drying rack provided. The 1st bedroom was also large and lots of closet space. The mattresses were so comfy, I slept really well. Also, the A/C units (1 downstairs, 2 upstairs) were great – so quiet! Everything you need was there in the closets – hair dryers, plenty of extra sheets & towels (bath and pool – which were so soft and fresh-smelling), extra pillows etc and shampoo, bath soap, paper goods etc. The kitchen was stocked with basic items – (salt/pepper/some herbs, oil/vinegar, coffee/tea/sugar). And all the electrics were great – coffee machines, kettle, toaster, sandwich press. The outdoor space is just amazing – the view, the pool, the seating. The rocky cove below is accessible by a stone path, and you can swim there but note – only when it’s not windy. For most of the days we were there, it was breezy, so the waves crash onto the rocks in the cove so when the water isn’t calm you can’t clamber in and out. On our last two days there the wind died down and the sea in the cove was calm and it was heavenly to swim there. Clear, deep and cool waters. But swimming off the rocks here is definitely not for very young children or people with mobility issues. But even on the days when we couldn't swim off the rocks, it was lovely to just sit there on the rocks (or stone benches) and feel the breeze, listen to the crashing waves, totally unplugged. Although the location is quiet and ‘remote’ – it’s not hard to get to, and it’s close to Otzias, Vourkari, and the port. Turning into the house from the road takes a bit of maneuvering though, but once you’re in there’s more than ample space to park, turn around, etc. There is a dirt road that leads to the house, (a bit of it has an incline) so keep in mind you need a car that’s good on dirt roads. In general on Kea you need a car that can handle dirt roads, as many of the more remote beaches are accessible via dirt roads. The wifi was fine – it didn’t have a signal in the downstairs bedroom (which didn’t bother me). And there isn’t a TV in the downstairs bedroom either (which again, didn’t bother me). There’s a TV in the living room upstairs (I’m not a big...

My family & I had a wonderful holiday at the Seafront Traditional Village in Otzias. The house is just as in the pictures – clean, beautifully furnished with amazing views and plenty of room. We also appreciated the location being close to both villages of Korissia & Vourkari. Mr. Spyros met as in Korissia at the ferry and drove us to the house so that we wouldn't get lost. Mr. Spyros speaks Italian & Greek (both of which we don't) but he kindly got Yannis on the phone to answer all the questions I had upon arrival. Yannis is a wonderful host & was available to us by phone anytime during our stay.

5 things I can't live without? Well.... Sea especially Aegean Sea, sun, my family, unfortunately my laptop and some friends at a tavern.
I could definitely travel & live in north Brasil but I enjoy traveling almost everywhere, mostly to places with different cultures or with long history. My favorite european cities are Paris, Berlin, Rome & Barcelona. Favorite writers Kazantzakis, Dostoyevsky, Gabriel Garcia Marques, Herman Hesse and more. Favorite food apart from greek is the italian.
My life motto is coming from ancient Greece : ΕΥ ΖΕΙΝ ( Ef zeen) that means to live well.
