The space

We offer 2 Apartments just on a hill above Greve in Chianti. Both apartments have an independent kitchen and all you need to cook; both apartments have an independent bathroom with shower, etc.; one of them has a proper double bedroom and one sofa-bed, the other one has a double sofa-bed (when it's open it's a normal double bed) and one single armchair-bed.

There's also the possibility to have the two apartments together: they're divided by an inner door that you can keep shut with a key or open making one big apartment.

We can welcome up to 6 guests, 3 in each apartment.

The apartments are equipped with towels, bed linens, sheets, etc.

You can enjoy our gardens and use our free wifi connection.

We are just 10 minutes walking distance to Greve's main square and to the supermarket of the town. The place is very peaceful and quiet, just in the middle of the tuscan countryside.

If you don't have a car, you can easily reach us walking from the nearest Greve bus stop, the one next to S. Anna park.

We were unfortunately quite disappointed with this place considering the cost. Although the location was good for visiting Chianti and the apartment was large, the standard of quality was not what we expected from air bnb. Issues included an uncomfortable sofa bed with springs felt through the mattress, stained/dusty bedding, no remote for tv, no working wifi connection, spiders/ants all over shower on arrival. There was actually a huge number of ants in the apartment. We understand that this could happen as we stayed in the countryside but we literally had to sweep away numerous dead ants about 5 times a day. The apartment was lacking basic household amenities e.g bin bags, salt, oil, hand wash - not a huge problem but annoying to buy these on holiday. We never actually met the host but did try to get in touch about wifi and other issues but had little/no response. Overall not recommended.

Response from Giulio:
I'm sorry, but I find this pretty offensive as there are some false informations. As I always do when I get a request for the studio apartment (the cheaper one, with the double sofabed), I tell any guest that the mattress can be a little bit uncomfortable and that the wifi inside that apartment is weak (we can't do much about it as the walls are thick, outside it's better). So it wasn't unepected. The remote for TV was there, salt, bin bags, etc. are usually already in the apartment. If they are not, you could just ask for them and I would have brought whatever you needed for free (even though it wouldn't be included in our offer). Regarding dust/ants, I apologize, I can just ensure that we have a cleaning lady who always comes before every guests' arrival. Probably she didn't do a good job this time. I'm really sorry I couldn't meet you in person but right on those 2 days I was very busy with work problems. By the way you could report all these issues to my father who welcomed you.

We arrived by bus and did not have a car but Giulio was very nice and came to pick us up in his car. Lovely place, took about 15 minutes to walk in to main square and we had the town pool five minutes away by foot, for when it got too hot and you needed to cool down. We were close to a shop where you could rent scooters, so def not a problem if you don't have a car. It was nice and quiet around the apartment, with a lovely view over vine yards. Would defiantly go back to one of Goulios apartments!

We stayed at Giulio's place for three days in May. This was our worst airbnb experience so far, because the house is not prepared for people, who want to stay more than one night: there are no dish washing material, no sponge, no salt/pepper, no wifi. There was also spider net under the table. The sofa bed is really old and too soft, and cannot be used for sleeping. On the bright side, Giulio was very helpful and friendly and the location was great: close to Greve-in-Chianti and to main road.

We had our own mini villa, it was great. It was just a short drive down to the city and our room was comfortable. Guilio was very happy helpful and they made us feel right at home.

Very nice and clean apartment. You' ve got everything you need . Aparment has good location in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful vineyards, but not very far away from the centre of Greve. Giulio was very helpful, but because everything was perfectly prepared, we didn't need any help:-). We would highly recommend this place.
