We loved staying in Siv's place. The view is fantastic, and the place itself is clean and very pleasant. Really nice to have good quality cooking pans in an AirBnB! This was a great location to get away from the tourists and a great base for hikes (we very much enjoyed 4 waterfalls)!!

Loved this place. Beautifully presented, and our host, Siv, could not have been more helpful. The rooms are bright, airy with a calm contemporary ambience. The whole place looks as though it has been professionally designed and styled. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Siv's apartment provided the highlight of our travels in Norway - a fabulous change from hotels! Siv, Piet (and daughter), are absolutely perfect hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Eidfjord is incredibly beautiful and the views from the apartment are simply stunning. We stayed for three fabulous sunny days (and comfortable) nights and wished we were staying longer! Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Siv's place. Everything was clean, she was very helpful and prompt to answer our questions. The house has a breathtaking fjord view. We decided to hike to trolltunga, from Siv's Place it took 1h and 40 to the starting point. I will highly recommend Siv's home. Thank you again for everything :)

In summary, Siv and her place are perfect! My husband and I stayed here on our road trip from Oslo to Bergen for an initial three nights and after heading to Flam and finding it too touristy, we came back for another three nights. We received clear instructions on check in as Siv was away, we had coffee with Siv and her daughter on night two, got invited to a home made sushi dinner which we had to decline as had cooked a meal at the place downstairs. Siv gave us some home baked 'pancakes' on our way out which her mum and her had baked. She's just a genuinely lovely and open person. The place is perfect in every way. We were looking to disconnect from our busy London life and we completely did. There was enough space for both my husband and I where we read, knitted, drew and slept loads. There's a couple of supermarkets nearby, a few walks, some sights short drives away, a cafe open from Thursday-Sunday with a lovely Spanish host, a couple of places to eat at Norwegian times, an information centre with...ah and a knitting shop...and everyone in this town super super friendly. Cannot recommend enough. Eidfjord and Siv's place were the highlight of our trip.

Siv User ProfileSiv is a superhost.

I live together with my two children, 15 and 18 years old, and our sweet cat Sissi. I work off shore as a chef, love to travel, meet people and enjoy nice food with a glass of good wine.
