Our apartment has a 90m2 private garden with charming dining space among orange trees and a wood-fired oven.
There is also a small barbecue and two little charcoal burners. The kitchen has a SMEG oven/6-hob cooker.
We have 3 beds + a cot.
There is a private 90m2 garden for adults to sunbathe on deckchairs or picnic blankets and children to run around in. It has a lawn area, a brick deck with table and 8 dining chairs, and a wood oven and supply of logs (free of charge). It has little charcoal burners too.
The three orange trees and one lemon tree produce edible oranges and lemons, feel free to eat them if ripe!
The apartment fits 6 people as follows:
- 4 adults (two double beds)
- 2 small children (one cot, sharing with one bed for children from 2 to 7 years of age - see below)
There are two bedrooms with doubles, of which one is spacious and has an ensuite bathroom. The other is a small bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe, and is not ensuite. The third bedroom is beside the master bedroom, so that hearing if a baby is crying is easy. It has a cot and a child's bed - sufficient for a child of up to 7 years. It is the IKEA bed "Gulliver": (URL HIDDEN)
The master bedroom has a little veranda to the street. The other two bedrooms both have windows to the outside, though one is to the tiny internal courtyard.
We have a light and airy sitting room, with a chaise longue and a sofa. It has french windows to the back veranda and the garden.
The kitchen has a microwave for warming children's meals. The SMEG cooker has a large oven and six hobs, and there is a large exhaust hood.
For dining, there is a small table and a high chair for children's meals in the kitchen and a large dining table at the back of the sitting room. Outdoors there is space for 8 diners.
Nowhere is off-limits except for one store room where we have stored things that you won't want to use. You'll know which one it is as it is locked up.
Please do not touch the automatic mower in the garden, as it is dangerous.

Other things to note
This apartment is lived in by us and our children and so at any given time there are signs of damage and wear and tear. In the name of full disclosure (!), please be warned of the following current issues that we are addressing:
- the flush of the ensuite bathroom lavatory comes away from the wall
- the house's two showers don't work as well when used simultaneously
- the kitchen cupboard door is off its hinges
- the garden is fitted with all anti-stray cat measures imagineable, but they still come in for their bathroom needs occasionally
- the noise from other gardens can't be stopped from coming into ours. This includes the noise of the a/c of the hotel and the music from the dance school. Note - inside the apartment there is no noise (apart from normal street noise / the odd bang from the upstairs neighbours).
We are working on solutions for the above...
We list as without Cable TV but we have BBC and France 24 (and certain other web-streaming services). It is a bit fiddly to get working. I watch BBC and France 24 programming (i.e. content streamed from the UK) live via the web application on the Samsung TV's Smarthub.
Please note! If you are not familiar with this or wish to watch non-BBC content, we effectively don't have Cable TV!
Please aim to leave it as you found it. We ask for a small deposit which we will keep only if something has been damaged.
The two doors to the garden both lock, but there are also wooden shutters and a heavy metal bar that we ask you to put up each night and when leaving the apartment.
There is a burglar alarm which we do not recommend you use.
Feel free to smoke on the verandas or in the garden, but not indoors.
The neighbour downstairs has little or no insulation in the false ceiling, so hears footsteps loudly. Please be considerate.
The garden, while still not a work of art yet, is my pride and joy. Please avoid accidentally wrecking trees and plants. I know how hard that is if you have children!
Other than that, it is all yours - enjoy!
