About this listing
Enjoy fresh, modern decor, plus stunning river and village views from our half-acre gardens just 5 minutes from everywhere in this charming town filled with wineries, shops, and restaurants. Four queen bedrooms with private baths, and full kitchen.
Prepare all your own meals in the complete kitchen. There are two outdoor gas grills to help you enjoy your own menu or local bratwurst specialties, plus a fire pit overlooking the Missouri River valley. There's a generous covered deck off the kitchen and a walk-out lower level.
Enjoy the bedrooms, private baths, kitchen, living/dining room, front porch and deck. Take the winding drive right up to the front door, with an easy accessible entrance. There's plenty of parking at the front door, plus on the quiet dead-end street.
Interaction with guests
Innkeepers Gary and Marsha are on-site in the lower level Innkeeper Suite to answer any questions you may have. But the house is yours to enjoy in privacy. You may see "Gary the Gardener" maintaining the grounds, and even offering you plant cuttings to take home!
Other things to note
We're about 5 blocks from the main part of town, but up a steep hill. So you may like to have a car. Or there's a trolley service available by the day that will stop right at our mailbox when you call. They'll pick you up at Amtrak, too, and stop at all the local wineries!
Please note that your rate includes 11.1% tax.
Please treat our home with care, as if it were your own. You may welcome a few visitors during your stay, but if you're thinking about any special events, we'll need to discuss them in advance.

My husband, Gary, and I have enjoyed sharing our beautiful Spirit Hill Guest House and Gardens for more than 12 years. Our guests enjoy breathtaking views from our home, which has been remodeled with guest comforts in mind. Gary manages the gardens while I love to spend time knitting, teaching knitting and making other fiber creations.
