Awesome 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with high end kitchen in beautiful South Granville/Kits neighbourhood. 1 block from transit and a short walk to the beach, granville island&downtown. Enjoy 2 outdoor patios and bedrooms 2 floors apart for privacy.

The space

This house has 3 floors, with the large master bedroom upstairs with an attached bathroom (full soaker tub and walk in shower). The main floor has a large TV with cable, a dining table for 4, and a couch to relax at, as well as a high end kitchen. Downstairs is the second bedroom with a 2nd bathroom attached with a large walk in shower. Downstairs also has a full size washer and dryer. There is a patio off of the main floor and off the bottom floor.

Lovely townhouse in a historic building on a quiet street just off of Granville. Quick access to downtown Vancouver by bus. Walk (downhill) to Granville Island to go to the market. Townhouse has 3 stories with the master bedroom on the top floor and the second bedroom on the bottom floor. Kitchen/living room area on the middle floor. Parking is in a garage underneath with an assigned space - I'd advise dropping your stuff off curbside before you park (or do what we did - and have to go up several flights of stairs with it - not fun!) Peter responded promptly to any questions we had and was a good host. We had a nice stay and would return.

The house is very pretty, clean, well fitted, and in a nice area just outside the hustle and bustle of the main street. Downtown Vancouver is a nice 15-20 minute walk over the bridge. We walked it every morning because it has a great view of the whole surrounding area. Peter was quick to respond to our messages and provided all the information we needed in order to check in and out easily. There is a good selection of restaurants and a decent supermarket within a five minute walk.

Peter was willing to help out as needed and contacted us several times during our stay. The house is in a great location, convenient to both UBC and downtown. For a busy area and a very short walk to Granville Street, the house seemed removed from this and it was very relaxing and quiet. Wished it was colder so we could have used the gas fireplace. We were ready to move in permanently. Not the hosts fault, but parking can be a bit tricky if you have more than one car as there is only one assigned parking spot and adjacent streets have parking restrictions or permit only parking...however we were able to make it work. Difficult parking is just the nature of the Vancouver area like many major metro cities. We drove down to Granville Island and were unable to find (URL HIDDEN) was easier to just walk from the house. Would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the Vancouver area.

The property was perfect for us, there were lots of restaurants and shopping near by but the street that the property was actually on was quiet. The owner made sure we had everything we needed but also very much left us to our own devices which we appreciated. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size although the living area which comprised of an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room, were a little more compact. Fine if you don't intend spending too much time in the property. overall we found the property delightful.

We all had a wonderful stay we just wished it was for longer! Peter was excellent to communicate with and recommending places to eat at in the neighbourhood. He was also very accommodating with allowing us to leave our car in the parking lot after check out so we could make the most of our last day in Vancouver. The location was great for getting any where really, we like walking so we didn't use any of the transport links but there are regular buses on broadway and granville. The accommodation was very clean, both ensuites were great much bigger than I was expecting and it does feel nice and private having the rooms separated by the living room area. The veranda was also beautiful to sit out on and have your morning coffee or evening wine! Thanks again we would book again.
