The space
Newly refurbished, this stunning & spacious apartment is presented to the highest of standards that you would expect for a contemporary beach vibe getaway in Cornwall. The stylish open plan kitchen/living & dining area makes a great social area for you to enjoy as you relax from your fun on the beach. Accommodating 2 double bedrooms with 1 x Double Bed & 1 x Twin. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room which can be set up for an extra person for an additional charge.
Enjoy either a sunrise or sunset walk to Porth Island that is only a short walk and accessed by a narrow foot bridge that from the island boasts stunning panoramic views back towards Newquay and further up the North Coast towards Trevose Head.
Porth Beach is best-known for its safe swimming and family-friendly vibe. The beach is lifeguarded during the summer season and the shallows are perfect for tots and toddlers to splash around in. The long tidal drop reveals many beautiful rock pools and due to its position between two headlands it is very sheltered and provides a lovely gentle stretch of water to try your hand at paddle boarding. Across the road from the beach is Roo's Beach Hut where visitors can enjoy a fresh coffee whilst stocking up on fishing nets, buckets, and sun cream while on the opposite side of the car park is Café Coast for cream teas and ice cream in the sunshine, or for the evening take your family down to the Mermaid Inn and enjoy outside dining on the beach as the sunsets.
For those that love to surf, the rugged cliff lined bay of Whipsiderry offers great surfs at mid to low tide, loved by the locals and the more adventurous visitor, the steps guarantee you will be nicely warmed up before you begin your paddle out.
A fifteen minute brisk walk, or a few minutes drive along the beautiful coastline is Wategate Bay, a vibrant and action packed spot on the North Cost. Watergate Bay is becoming very exclusive, whilst remaining very family orientated but with plenty of opportunities for the more adventurous. Enormously popular with surfers and kite-boarders, but also perfect for families and offers a selection of beachfront restaurants and cafe’s including the laid-back vibe of the Beach Hut, a peaceful and stylish lunch at The Living Space or evening dining in the very classy Zarcy’s restaurant all offering seaside refreshment and fine dining with some pretty amazing views
