I am not a regular Hostel user, in fact this is the first ever experience so my review is based off that unlike some people who do this very often. I booked this place because of the good reviews, also because it was so cheap and in a great location. I did not want to spend a night alone in a hotel and thought it's worth checking out what hostels are all about! The good thing is I made a friend straight away and had someone to at least chill out with for a few hours. I did not get to use all the facilities but my favourite part was the roof terrace where the kitchen is for breakfasts and dinners.. you can even have a shisha, which I missed on because I fell asleep early due to being super tired. The people there are cool and very helpful. The free breakfast is also a nice touch for such a cheap price to stay in and the way the whole building is set up is quite cool. My only negative feedback is that the bed I slept on had a terrible mattress that felt like it had a massive dip in the middle and definitely needs replacing, also hated the very thick pillow that gave me a neck ache. The only other thing is the smell in the toilets and showers but that is minor and could be sorted easily.. Overall, I liked it but i don't think it is for me. Maybe I am too old for hostels at the age of 34! haha but for those youngsters or people that are on an adventure who travel alone than this is the perfect place! It really depends what you are after.. I'd have liked to stay just one more night to chill out on that rooftop with a nice shisha as I missed out!

Simply amazing! The atmosphere was incredible. I had also the pleasure to stay a night in the hostel in Essaouira, which is collaboration with the one in Marrakech. The people kindly welcomed us and they were always available for any kind of request and ready to help.
