Check in time is 2PM - 8PM
Check out by 11AM

Check-in time is any time between 2pm and 8pm.

Check out time is anytime before 11am.

Late check-ins: Late check-ins will be subject to an additional fee if we have to arrange for another person to handle the check-in.

Flexibility with check-in/out: If we have no guests staying before or after your visit, then we are happy to be flexible with your check-in/out times. However, if we need to get the apartment ready for our next clients, or if we need to check-out previous clients and prepare the apartment for you, then we will have to be firm with that standard check-in/out times above. We are great at finding solutions, though, and are happy to work with you to hold your bags, or find another way to accomodate your needs.

Smoking and Pets: Please, no pets and no smoking.

Electricity: Please be mindful of electricity. While the apartment has been remodeled the building and electrical wiring are older (and the electric loads in Europe, especially Italy, are much smaller than those in the US or the UK) therefore using too many electrical devices simultaneously can cause the electricity to go out (for example please don't use the hairdryer and hot water heater or air conditioner at the same time). If your use of the electricity causes it to go out, and an electrician visit is necessary, you agree to bare the cost of the electrician.

Hot-water heater: the switch for the hot-water heater is in the bathroom. It has a "O" and a "I" on it. The hot water is on when the "I" is depressed. Please turn the hot-water on about 30 minutes to an hour before you plan to shower and then turn it off after you are finished. Thank you.

Air conditioner/heater and lights: if you use either please turn them off before you leave the apartment. Please also turn off the lights when leaving the apartment.

Books: I've left many of my books on the bookshelves. Please feel free to read what you like, just don't remove any from the apartment.

Food: any food, coffee, tea, etc. that you find in the apartment is yours for the taking, Just please don't take any of the vitamins or supplements :)

Michele & Elmer were great hosts, it was very helpful to be welcomed to the apartment and given some information on Rome and how to get around. It is in such a fantastic location, we managed to see everything we wanted to by foot from here, but we do like to walk. There is a great little takeaway Pizza place right next door so you can quickly fuel yourself with a slice & suppli.

This apartment is extremely well located, Cavour station is on one end of the street and if you walk to the other end you can see the colleseum. The area, Monti, has lots of bars and restaurants, and the piazza della madonna which is a great place to sit and drink beers in the sun. Although the area is active, the noise from the street does not reach the flat at all. Even sat on the balcony you can't hear a thing! The flat was extremely clean. It is small- you will need to be comfortable with anyone that you are sharing the space with, but has air conditioning and all the facilities you would need. It is a charming spot. The balcony is great too. Michelle and her colleague were extremely attentive and helpful. They gave number of recommendations that are well worth following and ensured that we had a great visit to Rome. Thank you!

Just returned late last night from an amazing week in Rome, staying in Michele's lovely, cozy home! The flat was exactly as described/pictured, with everything I needed for my working holiday during a July heatwave: comfortable sofa-bed, cold A/C, fast internet, power shower, etc. as well as the balcony - perfect for enjoying gelato in the late evening and listening to the sounds of Rione Monti winding down for the night. Despite being literally steps from shops, cafes, and the Metro, and being located next to the (tiny, but perfectly functional and very welcome) lift, noise wasn't a problem at all, either from outside or from neighbours! The location is even more convenient than Michele describes, if possible - I had tickets to concerts at Caracalla and the Circo Massimo, as well as traveling in and out of Termini and seeing various sites, and between the Metro, buses and good old-fashioned walking, I was able to get around with ease. Michele was away, so check-in/out was handled by her housekeeper; this went smoothly, and Michele was available by email/(SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) with restaurant recommendations and advice on local hotspots, replying within minutes to my message, even late at night. This was my first time in Rome; I will definitely be back, and would not hesitate to stay here again, or to recommend Michele's flat to others!

We enjoyed Rome and the location was very hip and non-touristy which is perfect for any visitors. The room is what the pictures show, small but cosy and perfect for two. Kitchen a tad small if you wish to cook. The only problem we really encountered was when the host forgot to clean the flat before our arrival - it was a little inconvenient but she was very apologetic and had it sorted as quickly as possible. Michele was nice and helpful for any tourist information required.

Fantastic apartment, fantastic host! The apartment is cute and clean and cosy. The coliseum is just around the corner, the area is really sweet with lots of lovely shops and restaurants. Michele was great, very organised and communicated with us throughout our stay. She was always available when we needed her too. We would highly recommend this place. Thanks Michele!
