I am making a last-minute trip over the Easter weekend so I am listing my apartment for a STEAL because of the short notice. Must be able to stay Friday to Saturday.
My lovely cat Jett will be staying in the studio. Please thoroughly read all info below. Send me a request and let me know if you have experience taking care of cats :)
The space
This AirBnB is intentionally listed at a low price so I can choose guests who -
- are friendly and trustworthy
- have experience taking care of cats
- must feed Jett + clean litter
- will send me some updates to let me know Jett is doing ok
- can stay within the dates I need, as listed above. Prefer the full length but send me a request to discuss.

Jett is independent but shy. Very easy to take care of. I think she's the coolest.
Lovely, central, plant-filled urban studio in the heart of Melbourne city!
You do not get more central than this!!! There is a free tram stop at the front door ready to take you anywhere in the free tram zone - and beyond, featuring the iconic 35 city circle tram.

You can see the nightly Crown casino fire show from the bedroom.
The roof has 360 views of the city and the Yarra river. The perfect place for a sunset drink.
You can see Flinders St station from the roof.
The flat is equal distance between Southern Cross Station and Flinders Street Station.
You can stroll down the street to Degraves St and Melbourne's famous laneways for a coffee or to see some street art. Wander down to Fed Square, NGV (National Galleries Victoria), or ACMI. Chinatown is walking distance. Queen Victoria Market is walking distance.
This is a small studio. The double bed is solid and comfortable. The shower is big with good water pressure.
Additional to the double bed there is a futon that lays out flat to fit a third person, but three people would be a squeeze. I will accommodate three people at no extra charge, just be respectful and leave the house clean.
TV has a Chrome cast. Guests can connect to the TV from a mobile phone or computer.
There is a radiator to keep you nice and warm in winter.
Air con for Summer (the air con is an old unit so there's no remote control and it does make noise, the noise doesn't bother me though).
I have loved living in this apartment so much that I have bought it after a year of renting it. It is my awesome little space which is why I prefer to list at a lower price so I can be choosy with my guests and only have cool people come to stay who will be respectful and share the joy of this great little flat.
It is city living - the neighbors are a motley crew - you've gotta have an open mind :). The building is not the nicest! The lift is gross and rickety, but the apartment is a little gem.
Guest access
The space is all yours... private kitchen and bathroom…. Except for sharing with Jett :)
This is my home and a very lived-in space so please understand if my possessions are in the flat like my clothes etc... this is also why the cost is so low. The benefit is that it has all the conveniences you need and there's a pretty well equipped kitchen for a studio!
Other things to note
There is a coin operated laundry in the building that takes 3 x $1 coins per wash.
There is a lift, but there is a half set of stairs at the bottom of the lift and between the lift and the studio, so sadly this unit it not wheelchair accessible. You will have to lift suitcases up some stairs.
