This 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment is 1 mile to the beach, 3 miles to Sea World, and within 15-20 minutes of the most visited San Diego attractions. Designed for families, we provide toys, high chair, pack-n-play, and beach gear plus a washer and dryer in the unit!

Rental is below our home so you will hear occasional foot traffic. No smoking, parties, or loud music. Kitchenette has fridge, sink, stovetop, Keurig, toaster oven, and microwave. No oven. Rental is below San Diego flight path.

The space
The apartment is the first floor of our home with a private entrance. The rental is clean and designed to be family friendly as well as stylish and comfortable.

Inside the unit, you will find a pack n' play, high chair, children's toys, and books. We also provide beach towels, chairs, sand toys, and an umbrella for your days on the beach.

We have a fully equipped kitchenette (It has everything but a large oven - a traditional Thanksgiving meal probably won't work at our place but almost everything else can be done!)



Please note: This rental is attached to our home, so no parties or loud music. Also, you may hear foot traffic above you.

Guest access
Free street parking is always available, often in front of the apartment. Access to the apartment is street level. A few steps are required leading up to the house and down into apartment. The bathroom requires a step down.

Other things to note
The apartment is located below the home of our parents who are often home and available to help with any concerns (but we ask that you call us first). You will occasionally hear their footsteps or muffled voices. When grand kids are visiting, you might also hear kids voices and a bit louder footsteps though they do their best to keep them quiet in the mornings.

We frequently update bedding and furniture as needed to keep the place modern, clean, and in good shape. We try to update pictures annually, but please note that décor could be slightly different than pictures.

Also our home, like most homes in Ocean Beach and Point Loma, are under the San Diego flight path. Planes typically are not allowed to take off or land between the hours of 10pm and 6am.

We are less than two miles from the Ocean Beach neighborhood, a funky little beach community. It offers a great laid-back beach, a large number of locally owned shops, bars, and restaurants as well as a weekly farmer’s market.

Our place offers quick beach access while still being in central San Diego. Sea World is less than 3 miles away. The San Diego Bay, world famous Zoo, Balboa Park, downtown, and Mission Beach are a short drive away.
