Guests love this home’s scenic location.
The Stable at Namaste Barn offers you a beautiful breathing space. This is a place of deep tranquility and soothing energy. Situated in the rolling hills of Devon close to the stunning Dartmoor National Park. Take in the breathtaking views in all directions. Enjoy wonderful walks or head to the coast and beaches from just 15 minutes drive away. In the evening you could take a stroll to one of the two local pubs within 10 min walk. Free Parking, delicious fresh air and birdsong! + Yoga studio.

The space
Namaste Barn is a very special place. Guests unanimously comment on the sense of peace here. The host Jo lives in the main Barn. Jo is a yoga and mindfulness teacher and she has her own yoga studio here. Jo offers the airbnb in the separate dwellings of the Cabin and the Stables. The gardens and land spread over 5.5 acres sitting on the top of the Devon hills. Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden and the fire pit ( There is a charge for logs). The Cabin also has its own decking veranda.
Guests staying in the Stables are welcome to enjoy the huge terrace of the main barn for outdoor eating. This enjoys fabulous far reaching views.
We ask for no children under 12. There is an deep wildlife pond.
The Stable is finished to a high standard, inviting you to have a cosy and comfortable stay. The beds are deliciously comfortable. We've provided refreshing toiletries for you to pamper yourselves and thick soft cotton towels for a little luxury. The Stable sleeps up to 4. There is a Double Bedroom with Kingsize bed. The living room offers two further single beds,
We are sorry but no dog guests. We have our own Golden Retriever and he loves all folks on two legs but struggles with those on four legs!
He is a darling, he will be delighted to greet you! Please know he also understands when you want space.
Flynn is not invited into the Stable or Cabin.
Our cat Claude is a love. He is incredibly gentle and loves his tummy tickled. He too will be delighted to meet you. He loves a lap to snuggle on.
Our Faverolle hens Ruby, Rose and Kerfuffle are dears. They wander and warble.

Yoga and Meditation. It is possible to arrange a private Yoga or Meditation session with Jo by prior arrangement and subject to availability. There will be a separate charge for this. You can check out Namaste Barn Yoga Studio online to get a feel for Jo's Yoga.

Guests have access to the gardens and land spreading over 5.5 acres. However the garden surrounding the yoga studio is private on Mondays and Tuesday when classes and sessions are being taken.

The neighbourhood welcomes you. Since moving here I am constantly reminded why I did! And the friendly atmosphere extends to the local villages and towns and right down to the coastal towns of Teignmouth (15 mins) and beautiful stunning Shaldon (22 mins). Folks are happy here!
