This was my second trip to Mylla and Inger Johannes cabins at Bratvold. The place is really beautiful. The skiing is amasing with lots of trails in the erea. Its a paradise for hiking and skiing experiences. The perfect place if you enjoy the adventures of nature. Inger Johanne is a very kind host. She is always helpful, and often invites you for a cup of tea or some snacks. Last time I got invited to a party :) She always responds right away, and if somethings comes up she'll fix it right away. The cabins are clean and functional, and there are showers and toilets right next to them, so long term stays are not a problem. I would really recommend a stay here, and if you do, you'll end up like me, coming back year after year for more :) - Hans Erik

I went to Inger's place when doing some fieldwork in the summer. It was definitely a nice and quite place where to relax in the evening. Inger was very nice and helped me out with what was needed.

It was simple to find Bratvold; even (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps knows the address. It is the big red house, not the small one. The scenery is very nice. The cabins are situated on a hill, overlooking the valley, forests and old farmland. The start of the Mylla - Sognsvann ski track is nearby. When I arrived, it was getting cold outside and there was a slight drizzle in the air. But in the cabin, there was a fire going in the oven and it was nice and warm; more than sufficient dry fire wood was available. The cabin had four beds (two bunk beds in two separate rooms), and space to go with it, but I had it all to myself. Being far out in the countryside, it is very quiet. Absolutely no traffic to be heard from anywhere. Inger Johanne was there to meet me, and made me feel very welcome. Not at all like checking into a hotel, but more like "How nice of you to drop by". I really enjoyed being her guest. The standard is basic, in the sense that there is no luxury. But everything one need is available, and the quality of the furniture and other things is more than good enough. The kitchen facilities are very basic, but you can cook yourself dinner and there is a refrigerator. There is no bathroom in the cabin (at least not in the one I had; there are several and I don't know about the others) but I know and it was not a surprise. Bottom line is that price/performance is excellent, and also next time I set out to explore the north of Nordmarka I hope I can stay with Inger Johanne.

Veldig fin plass med utsøkt lokasjon for skientusiaster. Vi misforstod teksten på airBnb, men har gitt tilbakemelding til eier om at den burde oppdateres. Noe hun sa at hun ville gjøre.

Live in an green area in Oslo with family. Spend time on a small farm in weekends. Want to rent out rooms for visitors to Oslo, who want to combine the stay with cabin life 30 minutes from Gardermoen Airport. I work with environmental matters and care for humans and environment. Have lived abroad for some years and enjoy meeting people from other countries! We receive people for weekends and weeks. No shorter stays. You need to rent a car to get there.
