Barry and Fiona made arrangements for us to access the cottage. Soon after our arrival Barryncame to introduce himself and make sure everything was ok. The cottage is very well equipped and very clean, there is one bedroom and a pullout bed in the lounge which was very comfortable, it easily accommodates 4. The wifi didn't reach the cottage but Barry kindly offered for us to go in the house if we needed. There were fresh eggs, cereal, bread, milk and other bits in the kitchen for our use. You can walk to tunnel beach from here which we enjoyed very much. We had a couple with us who are new to airbnb and what a great introduction it was. I would highly recommend Barry and Fiona's cottage.
I stayed 5 weeks at this accommodation. Barry & Fiona are great hosts, they even took me out for breakfast due to having no power or water after a storm. The accommodation is rural but only 5 minutes from the city. Everything is provided for you at the cottage making it a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this to others.
Absolutely loved staying on the farm with Barry and Fiona. They were very pleasant to deal with, kind, super friendly, and they made my stay in Dunedin memorable and special. The property is gorgeous and the views stunning. Close to town and the beach cities and also south to Waldronville and Brighton. Loved the accommodations. Spacious for a single person traveller, but can easily accommodate four people. Bed is so comfortable and the shower amazing. Enjoyed feeding Fiona's horse "Cruise," and look forward to staying again in future with my young daughter. Thank you so much - had a most enjoyable time. Would highly recommend AAA++
Very welcoming and cosy place to stay. Kids loved helping to feed the animals. Nice variety of breakfast food supplied and there was even some Easter treats for us when we arrived too. Highly recommended from our family for a long weekend stay if you want to get out of town a bit in a relaxing location.
