Firefly is a gorgeous place to come and relax. It's exactly how it looks in the pictures - but the pictures don't do the surrounding areas justice. That's something for you to find out once you get here. Catherine made us feel so welcome from the start to the finish with lovely little breakfast packages dropped at our doorstep in the mornings! The wifi was a little bit on and off but to be honest if you're heading to a secluded calm, relaxed location and concerned about wifi you're probably in the wrong place!! It's a great place to explore Huntsville and the Algonquin National Park and it's a wonderful cabin to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and just be.

We had a great three-night stay at the cabin, which was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The bedroom and bathroom were huge and the shower in particular was a pleasant surprise - strong pressure, high volume, heated up very quickly and plenty of hot water. The breakfasts were delicious, canoeing on the lake was fantastic (head left from the dock to Wolf Bay at the end - a great swimming and sunbathing spot) and the view from the cabin was amazing. Catherine and her husband Rudy were very welcoming and great at recommending things to do in the local area.

My wife and spent two nights at this wonderful cabin. The location was great, very tranquil but with easy access to the town of Huntsville and Highway 60 (into Algonquin Park). Catherine was very welcoming and friendly. The cabin is beautiful with a lovely porch and is right on the lake. The lake is great for swimming and canoeing. Catherine provides a delicious breakfast. I would love to return to this great property and do some more exploring in the area.
