The space

Renovated apartment in the historic center of Trapani, 300 meters from the train station and bus station, 300 meters from the boarding point to Egadi Islands and the bus stop to and from the airport of Trapani (Birgi) and Palermo, 400 meters from the beach.
The apartment is located near the pedestrian zone of the historic center of Trapani, full of shops for shopping, bars, restaurants, etc.
A few steps away is a paid parking and bike rental.
The apartment is composed of: 1 kitchen, a bedroom / living room with table, chairs and sofa-bed queen size, 1 bedroom with 1 queen size bed and, 1chest of drawers, 1 bathroom with shower.
In the kitchen you will find everything you need for cooking: gas cooker, pots, etc. The apartment has unlimited internet access (not very fast and only in the bed-room), hair dryer and washing machine, radio, air conditioning and fan. Towels and linens are provided.
Guests have access to a terrace, equipped with table and chairs, a pleasant place to relax, , shared only with Vittorio's family (the house manager).

At the foot of the rough Mount Erice, which seems to keep watch on it, Trapani extends to the sea, on a promontory stretching arched. Along the bank adjacent to the city and then gradually along the coast to Marsala, heaps of salt gleam along the shore, guarded by windmills, with their large blades, silhouetted against the sea like a great show. Opposite, often wrapped in a light mist that makes it uncertain outlines, are three islands, the Egadi, who welcome visitors coming from the sea. Small city, Trapani, in his crib sea, look a bit 'derelict who hides his treasures to show them only to those who can appreciate it. The origins of Trapani historically can be traced back to the Sicani, here they founded a village, but perhaps, as ancient writers tell us, was built on the scythe fall while Ceres, desperate, wandering the world in search of her daughter Persephone, abducted by Pluto .

Nice flat. Breakfast and evening meals on the terrace is pleasant. Good location for short and longer distance buses, the train station and the port. We were able to buy everything we needed in the local shops. Locals were all very helpful. Tourist Info at the train station was very helpful.

The perfect place to discover Trapani and it's surroundings! Giacoma's appartment is beautiful, extremely clean, nicely furnitured and tastefully decorated. With a small, but fully equipped kitchenette. Located in the very center of Trapani, all you want/need is just around the corner or in a short walking distance. Enjoy the cool breeze from the sea on the rooftop terrace ... Giacoma's friend Michele is a very nice guy, very reliable. Tip: he runs a bike-rental just nearby: great for visiting Erice or the Museo Pepoli (highly recommended)! PERFECT!

We felt very welcome in Blue House, it was a very cosy and clean appartment in the centre of Trapani. You can find there everything you'll need. We used the terrass on the roof a lot. The location was very nice, only a short distance - walk to the sea; the port; or one of the beautifull restasurants of Trapani, where we enjoyed really good food. We had a wonderfull time.

We had a really pleasant stay in the Blue House! Besides the really good wheater, the house was pretty comfortable, clean, cosy and on a good spot close to the city centre. The rooftopterrace was great for a breakfast or lunch because of the little breeze up there. On saturdaynight it was a bit noisy outside, but maybe that was incidentally and didn't make our stay less pleasant then it was before. Overall the people in Trapani are really friendly to help you. For us it was a bit difficult to find the buss stop to the Airport Birgi again, but a neighbor explained us that we could buy a ticket on the harborboulevard in a shop called 'Egatour'. From the house to the buss stop it's a 5 minute walk, and from the buss stop to the airport it is 40 minutes, so it wont cost you a lot of time!

We really liked the apartment. We spent 2 weeks in Trapani in the Blue House. It was on a fantastic location: near the beach, near the port, near the old historic centre, near Villa Margherita (nice parc) and near the bus- and trainstation. All those places are 2-10 minutes walk. There are also shops and bike-/carrentals nearby. The apartment was clean and cosy. It was not a big apartment, but for 2 persons it was perfect! There was everything you need. Also for cooking, with a big fridge, an oven, plenty of pans and a stove to cook. The communication with Giacoma and Vittorio was nice. They respond very fast and were helpful. The roof is also a nice place of the house. It's a nice place to sit in the morning or in the evening. Including plants, cosy lights and an umbrella. The only thing that didn't work well was the WiFi. For us it was okay. There was and internetcafé in the port.

We had a lovely 10 day stay here, and the flat is just as nice as it looks in the pictures. The flat is quite small, but plenty big enough for 2 people, and with a large living room it would be ok for 4 people too. There are windows in all the rooms, so it's bright and sunny. The air-conditioning works very well, the kitchen is fully-equipped, soap, washing liquid etc are provided, and you'll probably find enough tea, coffee, olive oil etc to get you through the first few days. The owner's 'assistant' lives very nearby, so if you need him for any reason he'll normally be there in just a few minutes. My only criticism is that wi-fi access is pretty poor, because the signal is so weak. We found one location (at the end of the sofa near the window) where it generally works, but elsewhere in the flat we didn't have any success. Also, the location is very good. It's right on the edge of the old town, so you can walk to the main street in 5-10 minutes, and it's only a couple more minutes to the nearest beach. The train/bus station is a 5 minute walk, and most other buses stop nearby. All in all we had a fantastic holiday in Trapani. For us it was the perfect place. The charm of a real Italian town, not too many tourists, plenty of bars and resturants, and easy access to beaches without needing any transport.
