Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Bennett's barn is a converted 18th century stone barn with 6 bedrooms set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
With 3.25 acres of private gardens (with two ponds) & woodlands.
Your own bar, dining area, lounge with wood burner and full kitchen, as well as a huge room for family activities, watching movies or playing video games, you may never want to leave the site!

Laundry room and drying area for coats and boots.

Upstairs is a large room that we use for training courses when you're not staying with us. It has two video projectors and a sounds system, making it ideal to plug in an X-Box/Playstation or use for a 'cinema night'. There are also two smaller meeting rooms.

Plenty on site parking for upto 13 cars.

As well as the main door, the building has easy ramp access to a side entrance with a door which will accommodate a standard wheelchair width (25” / 63.5cm - door is 28 1/2” wide). The main staircase is equipped with stairlift.

Your hosts live in a building nearby, so on hand should you need any guidance or assistance.

Guest access
You will have sole use of the Bennett's building. There will be no other guests on site during your stay. The North End building on site is our home and home to some of our staff, so you may bump in to us or them occasionally.

Other things to note
High Trenhouse is 1300ft above sea level and the weather can be much cooler up here than in the valley. Please make sure you bring appropriate clothing if you are venturing out to walk in the hills. There is very limited mobile phone coverage but you're welcome to use our guest wifi for free.
