Fountainbridge, Chalmers apartment is a centrally located, lovely refurbished 1 bedroom apartment. Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle, the Grassmarket, the Meadows, The Royal Mile and other attractions are just within minutes away by foot.
This 1850's building is a charming piece of Edinburgh history with the apartment's interior immaculately modernized.
There is a comfortable double bedroom and the apartment includes the open plan lounge /kitchen/diner
The kitchen, open-plan to the living room /kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need for home from home comfort, including a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar & biscuits ,
In the area close by there is a wide variety of great restaurants to choose from on your doorstep as well as a cinema complex within walking distance away which also offers bowling, a casino and children's soft play.
There are several local supermarkets 2 mins walk on the main street.
This apartment is ideal for a couple or single person l and offers comfort & relaxation and is in a great location for getting the best from your stay in Edinburgh.
10 mins walk to the Haymarket station and ideal as the Edinburgh EICC Conference Centre is close by

Centrally located modern apartment in historic building. Bedroom is small (couldn't lay open suitcase on the floor and it's tight to walk around the foot of the bed ) but perfectly comfortable for a solo traveler. Mattress is fine, nice duvet, and 4 pillows provided. Everything in good working order. Wifi is weak in the bedroom so no watching movies on my laptop from there but fine in living room. Quiet location set back from the street. But close to center of town and lots of bus lines. Several groceries stores near by to pick from. Bear in mind the flat has a mini fridge only. But I could fit a large water bottle in there on the door. Washing machine in kitchen was fast and did a good job of mostly wringing out clothes so they didn't take long to dry. No drying rack however. Did what I could with hangers from wardrobe. Very clean and functional flat. I wasn't sure how to power the electric stove (the power switch had been turned off) and hosts responded quickly to my inquiries. All in all a great place to locate myself for the festival.

The apartment , although small Is very centrally located . Ideally placed for most places to visit, shops etc. Due to its proximity to takeaways etc, there is a little late night noise on weekends, but nothing unusual for living so close to everything!! Apartmeant was clean and everything worked well. A good inexpensive base to see the city .

The listing description was very detailed and accurate. The flat is pretty much what we had seen in the photos. It was pretty easy to find the flat and its location is very convenient as you are literately in the center of the city. You can walk around the city as you are really close to all the sights. Also really close to the Heymarket station. Lovely flat and would suggest it for a couple or an individual because of its size.

Tony and Jayne went out of their way to make sure that our stay was easy, comfortable, and welcoming. The flat was clean, the devices/appliances all came with explicit directions for use, and when there was an issue with the smoke detector, Tony came over right away.

Hosts Jayne and Tony were very quick and clear in communication. We were unfortunate in having a cancellation in another place just two days before and found this place and booked just in time. Jayne and tony made what could of been very stressful very easy and quick. The apartment has everything you would need and is ideal for a weekend break or short stay the bed was very comfy and the whole place was very tidy and clean. The location was only a short walk to the castle/royal mile and close to the Grassmarket which has lots of pubs and restaurants. There is a great cafe/bakery just round the corner called Loudons where they do an amazing breakfast with fresh baked bread.

Hosts Tony and Jayne communicated promptly and in such a welcoming, friendly fashion. The location of the apartment was ideal for walking to Edinburgh Castle and other central sites. There is a fantastic café in the same block and well-known grocery stores a block away. The apartment has everything necessary for a short or extended stay including a very comfortable bed. All is extremely well-kept. We loved it and would highly recommend it!

Ha sido una muy buena experiencia, nos han ayudado en todo momento e incluso me permitieron entrar al apartamento antes de la hora acordada. Se trata de una localización excelente. Todo lo que puedes necesitar se encuentra en tus alrededores. El apartamento se encuentra en muy buenas condiciones y muy limpio. Lo recomiendo bastante.
