My family and I enjoyed our stay at Rachel's house. Rachel was there to welcome us in. The church parking lot, where we park the car, is immediately adjacent to the house. We found everything clean and the amenities provided to us (clean linens, towels, soap & shampoo, and kitchen essentials) enhanced our experience. The weather was hot and humid, but we found the window A/C units in all bedrooms and living room to be extremely effective! The kids particularly enjoyed the blackboard walls in the kitchen. The front door faces the alley so you will hear the occasional car go by, but I wouldn't describe this as being an annoyance. The neighborhood is fairly quiet which we enjoyed. The house is centrally located in Kutztown, a small, quiet (at least when we visited in ~mid-July; may be different once school starts) college town, and is walking distance to some great sights around town. We loved our breakfast at HIVE, a newly opened (3 months, at time of this writing) farm-to-table establishment- kids loved the food options there as well; we walked away with a loaf of their bread and coffee beans (which they sell). We spent a lot of time (as a family of bookworms) at the Firefly bookstore- this is the way all bookstores should be, filled with unique finds, much room for sitting and reading, and friendly staff. Alas, we didn't have time to check out many other places, including the university (stormy weather and tight schedule), but will be back here soon! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, Rachel!

The place is minimal as shown in the listing, but charming. Rachel is a great host. The town of Kutztown is a wonderful place and if you're looking to stay there, this place is perfect. It's one street off the main street and has great access to everything Kutztown has to offer.

Rachel's house was perfect for our needs. Had everything we could have wanted. Rachel was very accommodating and immediately answered any question I had. My kids loved the chalk wall in the kitchen. Located near shops and restaurants. It was perfect!

Better than the pictures! Rachel's place was awesome and she was such a sweet and helpful host. I had never heard of Kutztown and was just passing through, but I'm so glad me and my brothers were able to stop here. Would definitely recommend !
