Our stay with Alex was lovely! He was happy to recommend local restaurants and places to see in the Peak District. The room was small but had everything we needed. Excellent place to stay if you want to explore the Peak District.

The prefect place for a pitstop during our London-Glasgow road trip. Alex was welcoming, and the room was very clean with all amenities. Would very much recommend

Alex's pad was great. Very clean and tidy, and close to town centre and amneties. The breakfast was great and Alex was a friendly chap. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet couple of days in the Peak District. Thanks Alex

A really well kept place to stay within easy reach of the town. The accommodation has been tastefully decorated to a very high standard. I can highly recommend to other visitors and will be returning myself at some point in the near future. PS The hosts Alex and Penny were also very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble - 10/10

Thank you Alex for being such a great host and for taking the time to guide us and provide all the required information even when away on holiday. Lovely house with some great features, from the very well set rooms, spacious and warm toilet and well equipped kitchen!

Lovely house, central and close to Whetherspoons. We barely saw our hosts so it almost felt the place was to ourselves! We also had a very nice breakfgast with cereals, tea, milk, and a lot of fruits so it was a nice surprise. The only negative point for us is that our host was an hour late and only communicated this 2 hours prior to our arrival.

Response from Alex:
Thanks for the review. Although I try to be there always for guests to greet and show around the property, most of the time I find guests arrive later than their stated arrival time. Therefore, as it isn’t possible for me to wait in all day i would then leave a key in a stated location informing guests as such. On this occasion as I arrived 30 minutes later than expected we spoke on the phone on your arrival and you went to the Wetherspoon’s almost next door.
