Completely relax in our stylish and luxurious apartment on the edge of the fabulous English Lake District. Pop on our complimentary gowns and slippers to visit the Pool, Sauna and Jacuzzi in the Leisure Suite and chill out with a glass of fizz on the private terrace with amazing views of the Pennines. The restaurant/bar is on the doorstep or you could explore nearby Keswick or Penrith. A decadent base for couples wanting to relax and get away from it all or try out the numerous local adventures.

The space
The apartment is Ullswater Suite 6 in the main hotel building at Whitbarrow Holiday Village. The space has Kingsize Bed, Lounge Area with a 50 inch 4K Smart TV, a Dining Area and Kitchenette.

Although the apartment is in a hotel building with hotel like amenities, please be aware that it is a self catering apartment. Basic supplies are provided so you can go to the loo and make a hot drink when you arrive. The description referring to a ‘Serviced Apartment’ refers to the fact that it is professionally serviced at the end of your stay, ready for the next guests. There is no maid/room service during your stay.

The Suite is private but the other areas in the hotel and at the village will be shared with other guests. The leisure facilities, including the internet access, are available to use free of charge during your stay and are owned and operated by Whitbarrow Holiday Village. In the event of any leisure facilities being unavailable for whatever reason, I am unable to provide a refund, partial or otherwise.

Other things to note
To check in you will need to prove your booking. This can either be a print out of your confirmation or by showing your booking confirmation on your mobile app. Please have this information to hand when you arrive at reception.

The bathrobes and slippers are provided for your use during your stay. When you leave, please leave the bathrobes as these are laundered and reused. The slippers are disposable and can be taken away or left behind.

The towels in the apartment are for your use but must not be taken to the pool/sauna areas. Please ask for a towel from reception if you wish to use the leisure facilities.

The pre-set information listed by Airbnb is not entirely accurate. Whilst we do supply pans, we do NOT supply oil, salt, pepper or any other foodstuffs. This accommodation is offered on a self catering basis - this means you need to bring any foodstuffs you may need if you intend on cooking during your stay. 2 toilet rolls are provided to enable you to use the loo upon arrival however you will need to bring or buy more should this be required. The kitchenette has a 2 ring hob, air fryer, microwave, toaster, kettle and a tassimo coffee machine

Whitbarrow Holiday Village is on the edge of the Lake District in the North of Cumbria and is half way between the two picturesque market towns of Penrith and Keswick where there are plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to suit every taste. The Lake District is a World Heritage site and apart from the stunning scenery to enjoy it plays host to a myriad of activities such as Rock Climbing, Sailing, Paddleboarding, Canoeing and plenty of beautiful walks to suit all ages and abilities. We are located a short drive from Ullswater where there are steamers which run up and down the lake, similarly there are launches on Derwent from Keswick.
The Village itself has a hotel where you will find the Swimming Pool, Hot Tub and Sauna in the leisure facilities. The hotel also has a gorgeous bar and restaurant with views stretching across to the Pennines. It has a children's playpark, giant chess set, pitch and putt, table tennis and games room and a laundry room.
