I feel very fortunate to have found Corinna's apartment in Helsinki; it was right in the city centre, easily reached from the airport bus, and on the edge of the design district. This meant that we were perfectly placed to make the most of all the nearby coffee places, cafes, design shops, department stores, museums and to enjoy the incredible bars and restaurants that Helsinki has to offer. The apartment itself was on the top floor of a fantastic building with lovely views over rooftops and across the park - it was such a calm, quiet space to come back to. Corinna has created an interior which is really charming in style, mixing vintage finds and family furniture/lighting with contemporary furnishings – it's a wonderful, eclectic combination of 19th and 20th century pieces. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here on our working holiday and happily passed the days writing at the kitchen table and exploring Helsinki. Corinna was so welcoming and friendly, it was almost like visiting a friend-of-a-friend, it was really lovely. She's a superb host leaving us with lists of local bakeries and cafes to visit, having been very helpful via email before we even arrived. We're very much looking forward to returning to stay here again!

Hello, my name is Corinna. I am interested in different cultures and lifestyles. One of my passions is to travel. Usually I travel to different cities, I am more of a cityperson sort of speak. I love art, movies, music, vintage stuff, contemporary dance, and I really love to cook for my friends and my family. My family and friends are extremely important to me. To me it has been very important that my guests can enjoy my home with the artworks and colors I have decorated it with. I want my guests to feel at home and feel cosy and that my home could be a peaceful place to stay at. So the atmosphere and the feeling of the home is very important for me. I have great respect for other peoples homes and houses and the people living there. A home is like a inner picture of a human being, like a piece of art. The very soul of a person or a family. Especially if you have put a lot of thoughts, love, creativity and energy decorating it. A home is a place where you can rest but also a place where yo can get energy from. I welcome you to my home dear guest, to get inspired and to get some inner peace!
