About this listing
I love my house in Utrecht! - it's very spacious and the location is perfect - the canals, supermarkets, tour the france are all around the corner. We have a nice big garden and lots of green around. Perfect for BBQ!
We just had a new kitchen and bathrooms installed with all facilities. Use them, that's what they're for. We have four bedrooms but only three have double beds. You could put two more people on our large couches if you like.
You can use the whole house, except for our clothes and personal letters. Obviously.
Interaction with guests
Wendy (co-host) will show you around and is available for questions during your stay. She also knows everything about the bubbling night life around our corner!
This is a typically dutch neighbourhood, people greet eachother and take an interest in eachothers' lives. It helps to smile and say hello, it'll make them happy you're here.
There is free parking nearby (200m) - in front of the house is paid parking, but free after 9pm and on sundays.
Public transport is easy, the bus stop is 150 meters and takes you downtown in just two stops. Take bus 12 or 41. If you're arriving by train, take these buses to get to our place and exit at 'sterrenwijk'. (neighbourhood of the stars)
Other things to note
This great location will help you secure the perfect spot for watching the Tour the France stages (1 - time trial, 2- normal stage) pass right by! Bring a chair from the house and enjoy the spectacle! You could walk back and grab another beer from the fridge.
Please don't go through our personal stuff and keep the house in good order, as you would in your own home. We live here, and we'd like to keep living here after you're gone. If you break something, tell us. Unfortenately, we don't allow pets. We ask you to smoke only outside, in the garden and in front of the house, not inside.
Cancel up to 24 hours before your trip and get a full refund, including service fees.

I work in tourism and I'm a happy, outgoing person. I love travelling, it's my life, whenever I work, I travel and when I don't work I might travel too. It's a wonderful way to meet new people and cultures. I also love sports and it breaks my heart that I'll be travelling when Le Tour The France is in my city! It's like two of my great loves fighting. But I have to travel for work, so I'm giving you the chance to stay in our lovely house, 50 meters from where BOTH tour stages pass by!
