The space
Combining contemporary luxury with the relaxation of an authentic rural retreat, Power’s Cottage on the Hill is the ultimate home-away-from-home.
Perfectly located to explore the Waterford Greenway.

Having fallen into disrepair during the late 1970’s, Powers Cottage on the Hill was restored by renowned Irish architect Sean Madigan. Having more recently acquired the property, designer Shaun Clarkson has created within the house, a bridge, both historically and architecturally bringing the original 1920’s working man’s cottage into the 21st Century and enhancing Madigan’s contemporary aspect; a modern extension to the rear of the cottage, providing not only ample space for the luxurious, designer kitchen but also beautiful panoramic views out over acres of Irish countryside.

Hi I live between London and Norfolk, I trained in fashion at St Martins and ran a textiles company for many years. I have two partners in our properties and we love them very much. Travelling to find interesting objects and artifices to create distinctive spaces to relax in is our joy. Happy when I have my hands in the soil as I love gardening.
