House Rules

No smoking, except on the terrace or outside the house on the Place Paul Doumer.

The house is not suitable for young children (the stairs are very steep and the terrace is relatively open).

Please do not bring animals, as one of the people who lives in the house has a pet allergy.

No parties, nor outside guests not pre-approved.

No candles inside.

Feel free to use the air conditioners, but please remember to turn them off before you leave. If you need to switch from air conditioning to heat, or from heat to air conditioning, please start with air conditioning unit in the top-most bedroom and work your way down (you can switch to heat or A/C by sliding the panel back on the remote control and pressing the "mode" button until you reach the desired setting).

Please do NOT close the wooden shutters. They are very old and likely to break. The bedroom windows may be opened completely by turning the handle clockwise to 6 o'clock, or partially by turning the handle counter-clockwise to noon. To open the left-side window, pull the metal lever down. Please remember to close the windows before leaving the house, if it rains, and before checking out.

Finally, please lock the door and drop the key in the mailbox slot in the front door when you leave. Thanks for the visit!

Fantastic! What a place! We just spent 11 days in Arles and were absolutely thrilled with our accommodation. The house is situated right smack in the middle of a lovely square with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. The front door is right on the square and you can pull out a small table and 2 chairs and enjoy the ambiance. If you prefer, you can sit on the roof top terrace! Although it is a lively square, there is no loud music and the house is very quiet. The boulangerie is a few minutes walk away for your early morning baguette and there are two grocery stores 3 minute walk from your front door (and yes, they sell wine and beer). We parked at the City Centre parkade which was about 10 minute walk from the house. The rate was quite reasonable: 60 Euros for 10 days and we could take the car in and out as we wanted. The weather was smonkin hot and we greatly appreciated the air conditioning on all floors of the house. The rooms were very comfortable and the house is (URL HIDDEN) is a combination of modern and extremely old which takes your breath away. The house was very well equipped and the kids enjoyed being able to occasionally wind down in the evening watching netflix. We travelled with 4 kids (15, 13, and 12 y.o twins) and the house was perfect for us. It is a great pied a terre from which to explore Provence. Within 1-1.5 hours, you have Uzes, Nimes, Avignon, Cassis, Collias, Marseille, Pont du Gard (must see!), and the Carmague…. all day trips which we made sure included fantastic swimming for the kids. Love this place…this was the best Air BNB we stayed in during our 39 day trip…a little slice of paradise :)

Delightful stay in a fine location in a delightful town. Apartment was as advertised and very well appointed and maintained. Only caveat is the circular steps are quite tight and could be very difficult for someone with mobility issues, but for most folks they add to the charm. Would definitely stay with Jesse again.

We had a very pleasant stay in Arles. The location is perfect : right in the center of the old town while still being easy to access from the highway. The place itself was very nice and clean and equipped with A/Cs in every room which was really nice during the hot summer months

This was a great location! We really enjoyed our stay here. The wine cellar and rooftop patio are both really unique features of this apartment. We were able to walk to many of the attractions in Arles in less than 15 minutes. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

This house is so beautiful and wonderful. I don't suggest it for small children or the elderly because the steps are steep and winding, but everything was great. My favorite part was the clawfoot bathtub on the third floor! The only problems we had were coordinating check-in, it was at 2:00 and we arrived at 2:30 and she was not there. Make sure you coordinate check-in time in advance, especially if you're a visitor to France and don't have cell phone service there like us! There is a paid parking lot only one block away, in case you need to park, and street parking close by. The heat on the ground floor was not working well so it was pretty cold (January), but it was working on all of the other floors. I would not suggest visiting Arles in January because most people are on holiday, so many shops and attractions close early or are just closed!
