The space
Concerning COVID-19 / CORONA it is good to know you got your own entrance, your own staircase to the first floor, your own kitchen, bathroom and toilet. So you do not have to worry someone else is using any part of your apartment!
Furthermore your apartment is carefully cleaned before you check in.
Behind the front door you can disinfect your hands every time you come home.
At Prins Hendrikkade 176 there is a COVID-19 test location: opening hours mon-sun: 07:00 - 21:00. This is a 3 minutes (or less...) walk from the apartment.
Important information: I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Because of the points mentioned above your privacy is guaranteed, being always the only renter of the apartment.

The apartment is located in a quiet area (even at night) in the old centre of Amsterdam.
Within a few minutes walking you will find the Maritime Museum, Artis Zoo, Jewish Historical Museum, Rembrandt House, Resistance Museum, National Holocaust Museum, the Botanical Garden and more ...
Supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, laundry etc. are within a few minutes walk.

Recently the complete apartment has been carefully renovated. The living room shows many end 19th century details as the original mantelpiece colours, panelwork and ceiling relief.

The living room is supplied with a digital TV set connected to cable TV with DVD player and a stereo Hi-Fi set with CD player. There is a good choice of (classic) cd's.

The bedroom has 1 double bed (1.60 m. wide). Against the ceiling is a fan/ventilator.
The bathroom is supplied with a shower with a thermostatically controlled tap.
The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee, tea and cooking basics.

Be aware: the steep, narrow Amsterdam style stairs that give access to the apartment are not optimally suited for people with walking problems.

It's only 20 minutes walking to the central railway station. Within a few minutes walk you will find the Maritime Museum, Artis Zoo, Jewish Historical Museum, Rembrandt House, Hortus Botanicus (Botanical garden) and more...
The nearest supermarket is around the corner, just 90 metres (open 7 days a week).
