Private patio garden with access to large lawn .Delightful rural retreat yet very close proximity to York.The Jefferson Arms Pub at the end of the lane serving food ,real ale and dog friendly.Italian cafe in next village Cafe Valeria serving breakfasts & take aways.

The space
Located just outside of York , in a beautiful spot, a hidden gem away from it all.A secret escape but very close to York ,20 minutes by car .A park and ride is 10 minutes away at the MacArthur Glen Designer outlet.Easy access to the A64 and the coast Whitby,Robin Hood's Bay,Filey,Bridlington,Flamborough.The North York Moors ,Pickering Steam Railway , Dalby Forest ,Eden Camp,
Castle Howard,Eden Camp,Flamingo Land & Malton food centre.

There are sheep and our friendly dog Brutus. Take a relaxing stroll down to the village pub The Jefferson Arms which serves real ale & food (dog friendly)It is a great place for cycling.In the village there is a wonderful playing field with childrens swings and climbing frames.Next to The Lower Derwent nature reserve greta for fishing, bird watching, you might even catch sight of an otter!!

Neighbourhood highlights

Rural retreat but very close to York and excellent road connections .The farmhouse and cottages are situated down a lane from the village of Thorganby ,near York. I have a smallholding with some sheep and chickens.
A feature of the property is the lovely open views,beautiful gardens,the wildlife,beautiful skies both day and (URL HIDDEN) is quiet and a safe get away from it all but just a few minutes away from York.
