Other things to note

WHAT TO BRING:
flashlight, an extra layer of clothing, water,

I recommend you bring a flash lights and check your evening weather forecast as the temperature tends to drop 15-20 degress in the evening in the spring and fall months.
BUGS:
I personally do not use bug repellent, i prefer to have thin long pants and a thin long sleeve hooded sweatshirt to keep the mosquitos away when i go hiking in general, at the cabins I normally have not experienced many mosquitos in the cabin, but there could be the occasional bug. Therefore keep the screens closed, windows and door.
FIRES:
For our safety I discourage the use of candles as it is a wooden cabin.

CAMPFIRES:
Please do not light camp fires around the cabin or around the mountain on the property.
please do light camp fires in the designated area on the green lawn, you are also welcome to bring your own dry wood and or look for wood in the many acres that are on the property.
GREENHOUSE:
You are welcome to weed our green house and give a hand, especially if you have a green thumb. A chicken coupe is planned in the near future.
WATER:
Our water comes from an underground well which is safe to drink, there are several places to collect your own natural spring water fresh from the underground aquifers.

Remote and kind of an interesting place. Cabin was very clean and cozy. I didn't get a chance to spend much time on the grounds, so I can't really comment on that. Seemed like a really good spot for a small group to be-- you could rent both cabins and have the whole property to your self. Dark and quiet in the woods. So if that's what you are looking for-- find it here at a good price.

We had a great stay! It's a beautiful property and setting. The cabins are cozy. The bathrooms are clean. It's nature at it's best. The property manager is really nice and we met the owner who was so sweet! Would definitely stay again! Thanks!

Great place to stay. Quiet, beautiful land, great people. A wonderful getaway from busy life. Really enjoyed speaking with the man who owns the place. He is a truly incredible person.

German was not available when we were supposed to check in, even though we called him around 6 times and waited over an hour. We had to leave, and find somewhere else to stay, because it got dark and we were getting worried. He followed up the next day and apologized, but the situation was not a preferable one.

Response from German A:
I am sorry it didn't workout this reservation the door for the cabins was left open for you, all you had to do was pull on the handle, first time this happens with any guest. You did arrive half hour after the time we agreed on and our person who meets and greets was not there. I do apologize for not being able to receive your call. Even though Airbnb fined me $100 I still offer you 2 free nights to make up for the trouble. Feel free to contact when ready. Thank you Germán
