"An Architects Studio"

This cozy Treehouse is idyllic. Cocooned by Redwoods, Sitka Spruce and Huckleberries. A ladder leads you to the cozy sleeping loft, where you can gaze at the stars through the two huge skylights. Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

The space
Showering in the Stump Shower and sleeping under the glass ceiling are some of the highlights our guests enjoy most. Even in a winter storm the Treehouse is so cozy.

We do live on the property with our two teenage sons and dogs. We are respectful of our guests desire for solitude, however we can't guarantee you won't hear us if we are enjoying our outdoor patio space or working in our garden. The Treehouse is very private, and separate from our space. There is no direct line of site from our house to the treehouse. We respect our guests privacy and we appreciate ours.

Guest access
While staying at the Treehouse you will have access to the back private three acres of forrest on our property. You will find majestic ancient stumps, and redwood bridge over a seasonal creek to a meditation platform. Depending on the season there are Huckleberries, Thimble Berries and Salmon Berries growingin abundance around the forrest.

Other things to note
If the Treehouse is not available for your desired dates, we encourage you to checkout our other amazing experience on our property.
An Architecture Studio embodies rustic luxury. It is larger than the Treehouse, but still has the secluded forest feel. A king size bed in the loft with skylights above the bed, a full custom kitchen, and bathroom. You will access it using a golf cart on path through the redwoods! Think Treehouse on steroids!

The Stump House can only accommodate two people. If you arrive with additional guests, you will be asked to leave and forfeit the cost of the rental.

Our property can not accommodate micro weddings, elopements or any other celebrations or events that require anyone but the two registered guests on the property.

The Treehouse cannot accommodate any cooking beyond what can be achieved with a microwave and a electric kettle. No camp/backpacking stoves or BBQ's are permitted on the property. The Treehouse is too small for the impacts of cooking.
