A lovely stone house with its own pool in the heart of Umbria.
The property is only 2 km away from the very pretty medieval hamlet of Doglio and 12 km from the gorgeous town of Todi.
The nearest airports are Perugia and Rome Fiumicino.
The house is on one level and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It can sleep 6 plus one, it has a lovely pool, a gorgeous garden, an olive grove and fantastic views over the Umbrian hills.
The space
This traditional stone house near Todi is located on a hilltop 450m above sea level surrounded by fields, woodlands and olive trees with breathtaking views over the Monte Peglia and the Apennines.
The shaded portico outside the reception is scented with aromatic herbs and lavender creating a relaxing environments for leisurely dining or just relaxing with a book.
Enclosed within a fenced landscaped garden with a private pool, lush lawns, flowers and scented shrubs, the villa provides a perfect sanctuary for our guests.
Our villa is perfect for a family holiday or for couples looking for a location from which to explore Umbria and beyond.- Assisi, Spoleto, Todi, Orvieto, Perugia, Spello, Rome and even Florence are all easily accessible from here.
The splendid panoramic views from the large covered portico and the pool, will keep you spellbound.
Make good use of the BBQ and sample some of the meat delicacies from the EMI supermarket or local markets, live the Umbrian life.

Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed and also a pull out bed and a wardrobe and air conditioning unit
Bedroom 3 has a double bed with ensuite bathroom and wardrobe with chest of drawers and air conditioning unit. The en suite bathroom has a shower cabin, a bidet, wc and sink.
The interior and exterior of the house are in keeping with the Umbrian style. The house has exposed wooden beams throughout, the floor tiles are all hand made terracottas and in the main bathroom travertine marbles and terracotta have been used to create a typical Umbrian style decor.
The wooden panels in the rustic kitchen are all hand made and the furniture throughout the house is antique and in keeping with the overall style.
There is the possibility to get a baby cot on request and a baby high chair too.

From the large panoramic portico you enter the living area including a dining table, the sitting area, the lovely fireplace and the rustic kitchen area.
Equipped with electric oven, hob, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, microwave, American coffee machine, Nespresso Machinewasher machine and dishwasher.
We recommend that you don’t use the dishwasher and the washer machine at once since especially in the summer months with the running of the pool and the water well the electricity might trip.
We suggest to run the dishwasher separately at night if you can.
There is wi fi in the house and you don’t need any password.
We have Amazon fire stick installed on our TV where you can log in in to your own Accounts.
Fresh clean towels, pool towels and bedding available on arrival, the garden and pool are serviced weekly.
Driveway for more than three cars.
Children using the pool must be accompanied at all times. Feel free to bring inflatable for the pool.
We encourage our guests to pick any fruits you might find on the trees during your stay.
The figs are particularly tasty during the month of Aug and September.
House cleaning available at €10 per hour also baby sitting with notice from €10 per hour.
Guest access
The house is easily accessible from the main road and there is only a little white road which takes you to the property. The villa is accessible by car only.
You will be met on arrival when you arrive in the small village of Doglio at the BAR by our lovely Valeria and Silvano.
There is a damage deposit of €300 to pay locally to Valeria plus a cleaning fee of €120-150 to pay at the end of your stay.
Also during the summer months we ask for €70 towards the electricity bill.
The damage deposit will be given back to you minus the cleaning fee once you check out.
We take the health and safety of our guests very seriously. Be assured that because of Covid19 the property will be properly sanitised before every arrival. A certificate will be shown to you upon check in.
Other things to note
The house is set in a private position but it is not at all isolated.
The pool is open from the third week of May to the end of Sep ( sometimes beginning of Oct) The house sleeps 7.
Baby cot and high chair on request. If you rent the house from Oct to April/May there might be the need to use the central heating which is an extra €105 per week or €15 per day. Also note that the pool is open from third week of May until end of Sep ( beginning of Oct).
