What a fantastic experience! We stayed in The Lagoon Room. It was delightful. Everything was very clean and neat, in our room, bathroom, and common areas. Claudia's breakfasts were wonderful. We also took advantage of the beach supplies! Claudia also had a wealth of knowledge for us that helped in our planning for daily site seeing. Lovely walk through the garden to the beach a block away. Affordable, clean, great location, enjoyable experience - what more could you ask for?

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was beautiful and a perfect start to our honeymoon! The place is a short walk away from a couple of beaches great for snorkeling and seeing sea turtles. Also, breakfast was delicious, we looked forward to it each morning!

This Hilo property is in a quiet, residential neighborhood, nestled in a tropical garden. It is just a few minutes walk to several beautiful coastal parks. Though it is not within walking distance to shops and restaurants, it is only 10-12 minutes to the city center by car. This is a full service B&B, not simply someone's guest room. Claudia was a gracious host. She met us upon arrival, oriented us to the property, and asked if we had any special needs. She clearly wants her guests to enjoy themselves. She provides snorkeling equipment, lawn chairs, and beach towels for guests. And when I realized I left my wallet, including cash & credit cards, in the room when we flew home, she shipped it to me without complaint. And she serves the best breakfast, always with fresh tropical fruit! We stayed 5 nights and wish it could have been longer.

Claudia has a very nice home with lush landscapes. Our room was nice and clean, with a television and small refrigerator. The location is super close to some nice beaches, and a few minutes drive into the shopping and dining areas. She made a very nice breakfast for us, quite filling! I wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

The home is very nice and in a great location! We enjoyed the noises at night. There are quite a few rules here though. Where you can put your towels, where and when you can eat, how to leave things throughout the day... Nothing too unusual, but it made our trip a little less relaxing. Rent your own snorkel gear if she hasn't updated her things - they were mostly broken when we went out. She didn't seem to have much advice on locations and sights out of her neighborhood, but the neighborhood was nice with a cool beach right across the road! The hot water turning off at 10pm was kind of inconvenient for us a time or two, needed to get our showers in when the hot water was still on! Overall it was a fine stay in a lovely room, but we'll try somewhere else the next time we visit The Big Island.

Claudia was great. Breakfasts were filling and yummy. Wifi was solid. Scenery around the BnB was beautiful, and we really liked hearing the sounds of the island wildlife from bed. Definitely recommend.
