Everything was exactly as it was described! I arrived in late afternoon, and it was clear where I needed to go to get settled. I met up with Julie a day later, and she was very kind and helpful for anything I might've needed. I'm pretty self-sufficient, but it was nice knowing she was around to help with anything! I'd definitely stay here again, and likely will for my next trip over!

This is just something extraordinary. And if you keep the door open you can see Ben Nevis from the bed.

Great Glen Yurts is a fantastic place to stay and has a stunning view to Ben Nevis. The yurts are very spacious! We had three very nice but and quite wet days there - but the oven in the yurt was there to dry us and make it cosy! The kitchen is well organised (barbecue!) and a good place to meet the other inhabitants. It was a great adventure for our children, and we can highly recommend it.

Staying in a yurt is magical and the views from this lovely place are amazing. I stayed with two of my friends for three nights and we did not want to leave. The yurt was clean and cosy and on arrival there were some biscuits and tea waiting for us. We also got given some matches and lighter cubes to make a fire. The kitchen has everything you need and the toilets and showers are clean and work well. I would really recommend staying here.

What a great place to spend some days of our holiday. The yurt was perfect and clean. The view briljant. The kitchen for all quests was very clean and we could use everything. A great place to relaxe!!

We loved staying in one of Julies three yurts. Everything worked fine, the yurt was ready for us when we arived. Nice beds and a very cosy atmosphere. We really had a good time in this beautiful and quiet setting. We had two sunny days with a spectacular view to ben Nevis. Julie came by later as we had checked in and asked if everything was ok, and so did her husband the next day. So we felt very welcome. The kitchen area worked very fine, and a nice area to get to meet other travellers. The kitchen had all you needed including a fridge and a freezer, it seemed very organized. Tjans for a lovely stay!

Staying at the Great Glen Yurts was a very special experience! The Otter yurt was beautifully decorated in blue and yellow and very cosy with lots of rugs, candles and of course the indispensable wood stove! We didn’t get to meet Julie but two of her sisters helped us out on arrival and made us feel very welcome. The showers and toilets were clean and the outdoor kitchen was a good place to meet and talk to other travellers. Next time we will book for more days, 2 days was too short.

I am inspired by dramatic landscapes and being active and in touch with my environment whether its swimming in freezing rivers, hiking in the mountains or growing vegetables in the soil. I am motivated by lifestyle not money which is why I choose to live in a beautiful part of the world. I want my children to experience wilderness and running free among nature.
