Neighbourhood highlights

Our small cottage “The REST” is set in the beautiful, well established garden of our own home, Cherrywood, situated in stunning Glen Nant in a small exclusive residential area of Taynuilt. Outside of the wee cottage is a lovely sunny patio area, ideal for a glass of wine before dinner and in addition, there is a private garden where we provide a BBQ and a seating area that looks towards the majestic munro of Ben Cruachan.
The village of Taynuilt is just one mile away where you will find Grahams the Grocers and the village post office. Taynuilt also boasts a 9 hole golf course with magnificent views from every tee; and the old iron furnace, which was responsible for providing the cannon balls for the Battle of Trafalgar and today is maintained by Historic Scotland.
At the entrance to the village is the Taynuilt Hotel which has just reopened after substantial renovations. The hotel boasts a magnificant menu showcasing local produce wherever possible.
