Centrally located in downtown Vancouver, one bedroom corner suite with 1 free underground secured parking, 9' ceilings, lots of windows, den, polished flooring throughout, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, private balcony with view, gas fireplace & free in-suite laundry. One queen sized bed in bedroom and one sofa bed in the living room. One cot single sized bed is available in the living room upon request. Both sleep one under 6 feet tall comfortably.

- The third guest can either use the sofa bed or the cot bed in the living room (sleep 1 under 6" ft tall) - both newly replaced

ABOUT THE BUILDING:
- Secured building with key fob entry to all levels, secured underground parking, bike room, gym, sauna, steam room, yoga room and changing room, etc.
- our unit is located in the heart of downtown and therefore construction in the area during the day is common. Construction is in fact common in the whole Greater Vancovuer area due to the blooming real estate industry.

FROM THE AIRPORT:
-25min drive from the Vancouver International Airport or take the skytrain (23min train ride) from the airport to Yaletown Roundhouse Skytrain station and 10min walk to the apartment.

AROUND THE AREA:
Conveniently located steps away from everything and in between two vibrant areas: Davie Village and Yaletown. Around the area includes Shopper Drug Mart (grocery / drug store), Tim Hortons, dry cleaning, car rental, liquor store, some of Vancouver's popular restaurants (La Brasserie, Banana Leaf, Stepho's Souvlaki Greek Taverna, Vera's Burger and much more).

1. We are providing concierge services during your stay, please do not have communication with the building management / strata during your stay, they will not provide you with any service. We're here 24/7!

2. Please be respectful of our neighbours. This is NOT a party building! Quiet hours after 10pm PLEASE! Any noise complaints made to strata will impose a fee of $500 by the host and deducted from deposit. My neighbour is particularly concerned with noise level.

3. Absolutely no parties, no drugs, or large gatherings at the apartment.

4. Absolutely no smoking and sorry no pets, including in the balcony. Evidence of smoking will forfeit security deposit. This unit is 100% pet free and smoking free.

5. We realize that accidents do happen so in case you break something, please just let me know so we can purchase it for the next guest in advance. Please send me a message regarding any accidents / spills / damages.

6. Please remove your shoes upon entry into the apartment.

7. No bike to be parked inside the apartment, including the balcony.

8. Lost key fobs carry a $200 charge.

9. The cot bed can only be placed in the living room, it will not fit in the bedroom. Please do not try to squeeze it in.

10. The apartment is privately owned; the Owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facility. Please purchase insurance ahead of time. The Owner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest in the car or in the house throughout your stay. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the apartment or others whom they invite to use the apartment.

11. Additional rules and guidelines will be posted inside the apartment.

12. If you use the stove for cooking, we kindly ask you to wipe down the backsplash before any oil gets dried out and sticks to it. It would be really hard to clean at that point. Thanks for doing this.

13. Any commercial use / activities are not allowed in the unit or any common areas in the building.

14. Standard check in time: 4pm, unless otherwise arranged.

It may be that we stayed in some really amazing airbnb's before this place but it didn't quite meet our expectations. Although everything was as pictured, some of the furniture could use a little love and a shower curtain with the liner would be a nice touch. It was small things like this that made the apartment not feel quite as welcoming as some of our previous airbnbs. Other hosts have had instructions printed for the guests (which would have been great given that we have American cellphones and didn't have our data turned on for the trip and had to get the wifi password for the apartment), creamer in the fridge, sugar, etc. We arrived later than expected which the hosts were very gracious about but arrived to a lobby under construction which made it a bit confusing to find the elevator and we ended up having to page them twice as it would not let us up the elevator to the apartment the first time (I think it must have been on a timer because we couldn't find the elevator at first). In addition, the lobby was closed for the next two days which meant we had to use the parking garage, something that we didn't know about or anticipate until we had already left the apartment and got into the elevator which meant a trip back up to the apartment for the second set of keys. It wasn't a huge deal but given that the building is under a general renovation, a heads up from the host would have been appreciated. We also didn't really love that we had to pretend to be their guests and be careful not to mention airbnb as it felt like we were going to get kicked out of the apartment if we said something wrong. The location, however, cannot be beat as it was really close to everything. We walked to the ferry for Granville Island and walked to Stanley Park as well as most places in the city. It was also very close to the train to the airport, although we did not partake as our flight was very early in the morning.

I regret not paying attention to the reviews prior to booking! Did not have a good experience. Check-in was pretty complicated because there was so much construction in and around the building. Unless you live in Vancouver, you wouldn't know that the apartment is located on a very busy street which has a lot going on around 3-4pm (which is check-in time). Also, there was construction on that street so it was extremely hectic. When I arrived to the building, there was also construction inside of the building and there was no running water (Alice had let me know about a few hours before. At first it was not a problem because by the time I had checked in the water was back on. However, someone left the water running so when I arrived there was a bathtub full of dirty brown water (maybe because of dirty pipes? not sure why it was brown) anyway, I had to drain it and rinse the tub out. I let Alice know immediately and she contacted me to discuss the issue, she was very nice and apologetic. Also, we were told to say we were friends of the host and that felt very weird and inappropriate, especially because I had so many issues getting into the building and floor and needed assistance and I didn't want to say the wrong thing to the neighbors. What made matters worse was that Alice informed us late that night (around 11pm) that the water was going to be shut off again the next day starting at 8:30am. Technically, we booked the Airbnb until 11:00am the next morning so my friends and I were really bothered by this. We felt we had to leave early. I let Alice know how we felt and we luckily we came to a resolution. Although I understand the construction and water situation was not in her control, I felt that our host should have let us know before hand that this was going to be happening. There were signs all over the building saying which dates and between what hours there was going to be no water so I am sure someone could have let us know but it is now apparent the host does not live in the building, but she needs to be on these things especially if she is an Airbnb host and not rely on her "cleaner" to let her know. No excuses. I will say though that I had no issues communicating with our host, I was able to reach her very easily and she was very polite and pleasant but I do not recommend anyone stay here unless she upgrades the bedding or lowers the cost. Very expensive and definitely not worth it.

Perfect condo for our family of 3. Kitchen had enough supplies to make our breakfast every morning. Everything was walking distance from us. Granville Island, train station, Canada Place and many other places. We did walk total of about 37 miles during our 5 day stay. :). Communication with Alice was excellent, she was very accommodating as well.

Enjoyed our stay and the apartment is as advertised. A little difficult to get the key fobs for parking although exceptional instructions were provided. Just had to street park first, go up to the apartment, get the key, go back down and drive around the building to the parking garage entrance. Reverse the sequence when you check out. Luckily my wife was traveling with me and there was street parking in front even with half the street was closed due to long term construction.

This listing gets the job done for a weekend getaway in Vancouver. The apartment is exactly like the pictures, very easy check-in and location is fantastic for walking to anywhere in the city. Couple minor improvements could have made this listing better - such as clean kitchenware, improving the uncomfortable cot and providing kitchen supplies. Overall a solid listing, but missing some of the little things that make a stay perfect.
