Canto das Fontes features four exclusive and cozy Tipi tents set on a 4,300 m² property designed under permaculture and certified organic farming principles. Here, banana, papaya and countless other plants grow in harmony by the sea cliff — a living ecosystem of abundance and balance. 🌿

Wake up immersed in nature’s symphony: birds singing, the 30 m waterfall flowing through the land, and the Atlantic waves below. All accommodations face the sunset over the ocean, offering unforgettable golden evenings. From December to March, temperatures often reach 25 °C, making this sunny corner of Madeira the perfect year-round escape. 💧

My name is Roberto and I'm an entrepreneur from Ponta do Sol, Madeira. My friends say I'm passionate about creating new business, but I like to think that my ventures can provide new and interesting experiences for others. I left the Island to study at the university in Rome at the age of seventeen, and this experience changed my life forever. I met people from many different countries and backgrounds, some of whom I became great friends with. When I returned to Madeira Island I imagined how I could bring these friends, and new ones too, to the land I love. It wasn't until I came into possession of my grandmothers land in Anjos - Ponta do Sol, that I saw potential for a very special project, the Canto das Fontes - Madeira Island Glamping. After several years of development, the space came into its own natural beauty. I receive every guest as I would one of my old friends from Rome: with great joy and pride to show the best that this Island has to offer.
