A 320 sq ft. cozy remodeled cabin in the Whiteaker District. A short walk to the river, restaurants & ale houses. To see a short video tour of the cabin, go to YouTube and search "AirBnB Cabin in Back, Eugene, Oregon". Private entrance and courtyard
Built in 1956, the cabin has a bedroom, living room and breakfast nook with an updated stocked kitchen and bath. Light filled and kept cool by dappled shade, the cabin is a quiet space that comfortably accommodates two. With a blend of old and new, this space is lovingly accessorized with re-sourced environmentally friendly items, handcrafted pieces like the Willamette Pine bench in the breakfast nook milled by a friend, original oil paintings by the host, and treasures found along the way. The bed is a queen size Sleep Number bed that offers adjustable firmness for each side. The sofa in living room has a pullout bed that creates a separate sleeping space if desired.
The cabin has a separate entrance from the main house. In addition to the living space, the cabin has it's own yard with privacy fence and brick patio.
Interaction with guests
We live in the front house on the property. Weekdays we are typically gone most of the day. Please let us know when you plan to arrive so we can meet you and give you details on the cabin. Having lived in Eugene for over 20 years, we are happy to share what we know about our town.
Other things to note
Our property is located on a 1/4 acre. The cabin sits on the back part of the property. We keep chickens in our back yard. Depending on the time of year and the chickens' moods, you may hear an early morning hen party.
Please be respectful of the space, your hosts and our neighbors. This is not a party house. Enjoy yourself
