A beautiful location, 10 minutes walk from the best beach in Antigua. We had full support throughout the stay, advice and problem-fixing on tap! A wonderful house, with a lovely pool. Great for the children (windy staircase alert for the very young!). A place to relax and enjoy the island. Howard was able to arrange a lady to provide toys for the children, a car hire company to drop the car off at the villa and free transport to and from the airport.

This is a lovely property. Very well laid out. Large rooms. Spotlessly clean and a great team of support staff on hand to help and provide advice on where to go etc. to make the most of the island. Thoroughly recommend. It is set on a hillside which gives a terrific view of Darkwood Beach in the distance. It is easily walkable (about 10 mins.) and there are shops/supermarkets less than 10 minutes drive away. The property has a great outdoor space with loungers, pool and shade for hot afternoons.

The Calabash is a great place to stay! My family of 5 stayed here over Christmas and New years and had a wonderful time. On arrival we were picked up from the airport and taken to the villa where our rental cars were waiting for us. A lovely woman called Jenny was there to greet us and give us a tour of the house. We were also given two local cell phones with credit on, which proved invaluable for contacting each other and family members on the island. There is so much space in the house and around the gallery area outside, that we invited our family (visiting and on the island) over for Christmas dinner. This was the best Christmas ever! I will always remember watching the sunset from the gallery. The pool provided endless fun for my siblings, cousins and I. Also Darkwood beach is very close by, and is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island! On some days there are only a couple of other people there! The local supermarket, the Epicurean, is a 5 min car journey away. It has everything you need there. Over all My family and I had an unforgettable stay at the Calabash!

We had a fantastic week at Calabash, thank you Howard! The views are beautiful, the house is clean and very well equipped. I recommend renting a Jeep or 4x4 as to get up the steep hill to the house as well as exploring the rest of the island. Darkwood beach was our mainstay for the week, great food, great drinks, and very reasonably priced (thank you, Marlon!) Highly recommend for a group of friends looking to escape for a week.

The house was beautiful. The rooms were a little smaller than they look in the pictures. But there was still plenty of room. Everyone in the staff that we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. House came with two local cell phones which was a huge help. Wifi was very fast. Over all the house was great

We pride ourselves in making your visit a special and personal experience. It's our job to make sure your visit to Antigua is as relaxing, carefree and memorable as you would wish, from helping you arrange flights, meeting and greeting you at the airport, providing you with a welcome pack on arrival, and supporting you with 24/7 local customer service should you experience any concerns during your stay; all in one of the world's most desirable holiday locations.
We absolutely love Antigua. We came on a visit and hardly seem to have been away since. Antigua is the heart and soul of the Caribbean, an exotic tropical island with an abundance of palm-fringed beaches, warm sparkling seas, English-speaking and life-loving locals, a wealth of land and water based activities, a huge choice of delicious international cuisines, and a background soundtrack of calypso and reggae. No wonder we decided to make Antigua our second home.
